Lots and lots to love with this dimensional and ultra vibrant red😍
When my guest comes in to refresh her color we do a mix of highlights and lowlights to continually blend and refresh all the different tones in her hair!
Why would we refresh the lowlights? Shouldn’t the lowlights stay?
✨In a perfect world yes, however as we know with reds, they are high maintenance colors and if you don’t refresh that lowlight eventually the vibrance and richness of that red can fade out.
✨The great thing about refreshing the lowlights and remelting the color is that it gives us the opportunity to slightly alter the color whether we’re doing it for the seasonal change by adjusting the formula or for just a change of placement (adding more depth or maintaining less depth).
I know it’s the time of year where blondes go blonder but reds ask yourselves, is it the time of year to go more vibrant to match that gorgeous tan you’re gonna have this summer?
Ask me more about adding low lights at your next appointment!

Here Is How To Ask For This Color & What Steps We Took To Get Here!
Would you believe me if I told you that this multi-dimensional brunette was created with absolutely no lightener??😱 In fact her original base color, is what we used as her “highlight” color in this reverse balayage we did!
She came in asking for more dimension, a cool dark root that was about 2 shades darker than what we had been doing but didn’t want the dimension placed in a way that would result in her needing highlights every time she came in.
So that we did! We deepened her root color about 2 shades and smudged it down using a tear drop pattern as to leave lightness around the face. We then took that same root color and did panel lowlights to create a balayaged effect. Finally we glazed her all over to maintain a cool brown tone for the highlights!
Does this breakdown help in how to ask for this? Are you dark naturally and want this color? Either way this can be booked as a partial or full highlighting/balayage service!

Chapped Lips? Dry, Itchy Skin? We all know how to fix those problems that arise from the winter time but did you know that those are signs your hair may need a little extra love and moisture this season?
You ever notice that when this starts happening that our scalp also begins to flake more and our hair feels brittle? Like we change up our color seasonally we also need to make adjustments to our at home hair care.
Stay with me here❤️
Now I’m not about to tell you to use chapstick on your scalp and lotion on your ends however I’m about to give you tips on exactly what you need to give both your scalp and your hair the moisture it needs before the cold begins to really set in.
✨Scalp Oiling, still a new trend in the hair world but did you know that most of the time we never do anything to specifically target our scalp? Adding in a pre shampoo scalp oil to our shower routine is quick and easy and the benefits of massaging your scalp is a great way to also stimulate the hair follicles. It’ll protect your hair overall and give your scalp the moisture it needs!
✨Next, upgrade your normal conditioner for a deep conditioning mask! We talk about using this one a week in the summer time because we wash our hair so often but in the winter time your normal conditioner may not be strong enough to tackle the cold, dry air of the winter, so using a deep conditioner every time you wash your hair will help!
✨Invest in a great leave-in conditioner! Another easy one especially for our girlies on the go who may not have time to dry their hair before stepping outside. It takes two seconds and a dime size amount to quickly pull through the hair and we have multiple options that can be curated for your specific hair needs!
✨Are you still with me? Because finally I’m not going to say to wash your hair once a week because let’s be real that kind of expectation is an out in 2024, but if you’re someone who washes your hair daily or every other day, I want to challenge you to just drop one wash day a week. Your hair in the winter time needs those natural oils more than ever and washing it everyday can strip them!
If you made it this far, how do we feel? ❤️
Don’t mind me just getting my bright, neutral background ready for 😆

Here’s our breakdown of how we transitioned her from a traditional foil to a “lived-in” blonde for the winter time!
✨The Process✨
✖️Face Frame Foil to give her a bright pop of blonde in the front
✖️Lowlights that only go halfway down for blending purposes to help diffuse the line of demarcation as well as add back in dimension
✖️Global gloss to recondition the hair and add back shine!
✖️Styled with a 1” iron
.givens
✨Formula Breakdown✨
✖️We did a global blonding on her to give her a clean canvas
✖️ Using equal parts RR@All & VV@All we created a deeper wine red color and did a “root smudge” and “lowlight” to give her dimension
✖️Everything we didn’t lowlight go covered in RR@All to mimic a highlight effect
Is this a color you want? Please book a consultation first as the timing is customizable to your specific hair and we can also go over pricing!🥰

This is your reminder that just because it’s fall/winter, doesn’t mean you have to go darker with your hair!
This one is for all my blonde babes!
If you’re a blonde and you’re wanting to feel darker for the fall/winter time, try going for more of a “Lived-In Blonde” over going all over DARK. I PROMISE you when spring time comes back around, it will be harder to get you back to your summer time blonde vs becoming more lived-in.

How to ask for this Mocha Crumble Brunette!
This was a traditional partial foil which means our highlights went right up to the root!
In between we popped in some lowlights to help add back in dimension to her hair and we varied how far down the hair we went. Some went about halfway down where as others went all the ways through the ends. This gives us a ton of dimension throughout the hair!
She liked lighter around the face but not in a money piece type of way. With a traditional foil it’s possible to get a money piece but it doesn’t pop the same way as it would in a balayage.
Monochromatic toning or tone on tone for an overall toner. So our global gloss at the end is about two shades lighter than her base which gives her dimension in a low maintenance way.
If this is the color for you go online and book either a traditional full or partial foil!

Miss Ashley here is a prime example of what I mean when I talk about lifestyle hair coloring! She came to me for the first time back in March looking for non-committal, low maintenance, beautiful hair color that only requires a 2-4 hour dimensional coloring appointment 1-2 times a year. The beauty of having lifestyle coloring is that the longer appointments are spread out anywhere from 6-12 months and in-between are mini maintenance appointments that only take 1-2 hours max every 6-8 weeks.
We did a partial balayage on her back in April and since then she’s come in for two glosses, a face frame foil and then yesterday for her third gloss and she’ll be back before Christmas for one more gloss before we begin discussing another partial balayage for this upcoming February!
What’s amazing to see is how soft and blended her grow out is 7 months later! One would never guess that it’s been 7 months since her last dimensional coloring service! Want to hear more about how you can achieve lifestyle hair coloring?
