Hoping everyone is having a safe and pleasant summer. Please mark your calendars for the annual conference, Friday, October 4 and Saturday, October 5 at Albany State University (https://cjag.us/conferences/). Abstracts for presentations are due by September 6 (https://cjag.us/conference-abstract-submission-portal/).

Please also consider submitting your manuscripts for consideration of publication in our online, peer-reviewed journal, The Pursuit (https://cjag.us/manuscript-submission-form/). We are working on the Fall, 2024 issue and looking ahead to the Spring, 2025 issue.

The Weekend Guide To Dahlonega Georgia Dahlonega Georgia is a North Georgia town at the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains. Home of the Gold Rush and with a historic downtown square, it is a great weekend destination.

This year CJAG will be returning to the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega for its annual conference on October 5th and 6th. The theme this year is Police Reform, our keynote speaker will be Dr. Thaddeus Johnson. The call for abstracts is available on our website. The deadline for abstract submissions is September 1st. Please encourage your colleagues and students to participate.
