As a knitter and crocheter, "Knitted Knockers" is an organization that has been near and dear to my heart since I first heard about it many years ago, but now it's even nearer and dearer to my heart so I wanted to share it with my fellow knitters and crocheters out there, as well as with those of you who may know someone who would like to learn more about "knitted knockers" for personal reasons, and with those of you who may just want to read about this great group!

FURever Yours is my way of keeping our furry family members with us FURever! I’ll have your dog’s fur handspun into yarn, which is called “chiengora”. It’ll be blended with Merino wool to give it a bit more elasticity, then I’ll hand knit or crochet whatever you’d like -- earwarmers, a scarf, a heart shaped pillow, just about anything you’d like!
The yarn you see on the left in this picture was spun from my German Shepherd, Magic’s fur and the yarn you see on the right was spun from my dear, sweet Luna’s fur. Luna’s gone to the big dog bed in the sky but she is with me FURever ... not only in my heart & memories but with this beautiful yarn!
