Why do we need validation from our abusers? Closure? Someone in my life needs it and will keep destroying every relationship he touches because the little boy in him needs the “I’m Sorry” so he can start the journey of healing and becoming the man he was meant to be. I truly believe abused children stop 🛑 maturing at the age of abuse to protect themselves. That’s a huge problem because their bodies don’t, their hormones don’t. They can’t process all of these emotions so they turn into anger and frustration and fear.
