These two just welcomed their sweet baby girl into the world this week!

Chris and Maddie have been in love with each other since they were fifteen years old! I mean, just look at them now ten years later and all of the emotion in these photos. I’ve known these two for years now, and I can’t get over just how sweet their love story is. Now their little girl is here, and their story and little family is that much sweeter.

Kaitlyn messaged me looking for a session to announce that baby Fones was on the way. She wanted to incorporate their ultrasound photos for their announcement and I love the way they turned out.

I obviously couldn’t just pick 2-3 favorites from this maternity session yesterday. I looooove.

Those days don’t last very long. That’s what I love about lifestyle sessions. They capture the beauty of being at home with each other, bonding, learning, and healing in those first few precious days.

Kids studio personality shoots! I’m offering a half session (30 minutes, 10 to 20 images) on Sunday, July 24th in Hague, VA. Included will be a plain white backdrop and black and white images. These images of your children would be beautiful blown up onto a canvas on your wall at home.

Last nights’s wedding was one of the most intimate and sweetest weddings I had been too. They both wanted to keep things simple and focus on what was really important in a wedding, their love and eternal commitment for each other.

Lauren messaged me about a year ago this week when we saw them at one of our favorite restaurants down here in Nag’s Head and asked me if I could come photograph their wedding in Nag’s Head next year. Obviously yes! With that ever changing sunset? How could I say no?

Paisley - 6 months 🌞

Kayla texted me and told me that Miss Paisley would be 6 months old soon and that they wanted a little family session for that milestone. She had the sweetest idea of doing these at the same place they were married, at Menokin Road Farm. We even recreated a first dance photo I took of them in the barn at their wedding, but this time with their baby girl in their arms.

If you’ve been following my page for a while, I have photographed these two (now three) for multiple sessions and milestones in their life. It’s such an honor to get to share these moments with them. It makes my heart so happy. 💕

Evan & Kerstin

Evan reached out to me saying that Kerstin had wanted to get portraits done of the two of them while they were home…and that he had a ring. He wanted to do a suprise purposal during their session.

I was so pumped for this y’all!

Their session seriously could not have been any more flawless. The weather, the breeze, the beach, the sunset, and the beach to themselves. These two radiate the love they have for each other. There’s no doubt they are meant for each other.
