I've really enjoyed working on this project. This is a mechanical makeover still in progress for my neighbors across the street the Lovely Ken and Paula who have been living in the neighborhood for the past 25 years. The old boiler had seen far too many winters with its check engine light on.. Ken and Paula are a lovely elderly couple who enjoy the mountain lifestyle to the fullest given Paula's condition suffering from dementia. Ken is a devoted husband and dog dad to their minuture snhnowzer Walter. Who is looks just like an e-wok.

The design of this new system incorporates full serviceability along with the manufactures piping recomdations for a single temp multi zone hydronic heating system. In this case, high temperature baseboard heaters and side arm hot water tank. I decided to pipe this system with the future guy in mind (i.e me) for future service with less confusing valves that I usually would have installed possibly front facing for access in large systems. This one is designed for the customers piece of mind.

I will also be capping boiler drains and installing all hot water piping with insulation for less heat loss, less energy consumption along with updating the thermostats. The pipe fittings are propress type and mainly consist of .marketing fittings supplied by our friends at Dahl Plumbing supply and George T Sanders. So far so good! 👍🏻
