Good Interpreters are out there. We are told that we have good skill, then daily face things that negate are very existence. People see our work and copy it, then say it was all their idea. There is much competition, and sometimes you just need a "pick me up" to make it through the week. Some are blessed to work everyday. While others are told that they are not worth the gum on the bottom of someones shoe. Sometimes, I wonder if I had it to do all over again, would I. I don't know about you. But, my family can't survive on me working one day, then be off for the next two years or more. Please remember that the next time that you see an Interpreter that looks like me.

Just a thought...

Sometimes you need to detach, disengage and move away from toxic people and situations. If it's draining, abusive, disrespectful or anything that does not feed your soul, disconnect and let it go! 💖🙌🦋

I'm seriously tired of people telling me, what's NOT possible..

I "Didn't go out interpreting today.". However, I still managed to use two languages today. ☺️

Life is too short 😢 Years ago we were all like family. Everyone looked out for each other. We ate together and drank pop together and were worried about each other. We need to get back to this. We need to take care of each other instead of breaking each other down. I'm going to make a bet, that out of my "family" and "friends" less than 6 will take the time to copy and post this.. Who are my SIX. I bet I’m shocked.
