I had the honor of participating in the groundbreaking ceremonies at Raytheon Technologies in Scott County this morning! Raytheon is investing $50 million in expanding their facility, creating approximately 100 new jobs! With Senator McCaughn, Congressman Guest, U.S. Senator Wicker, Representative Miles, and Frankie Adair, Raytheon Operations Manager.

Fellow Representatives White, Bounds, and myself, along with Senator Branning were honored to be part of ground breaking activities for the expansion of the Leake County Business Park! The Leake County Board of Supervisors and the Leake County Development Association have worked together to make Leake County more attractive to business and industry.

What an exciting Day for Leake County! The Supervisors took delivery of 7 New E-One Fire Trucks for the rural Volunteer Fire Departments! I was proud to be on hand for the celebration and to visit with many of the Chiefs. Two of these trucks will be going into House District 78 area of the County!

I had the pleasure to tour the new Lackey Memorial Hospital this past week! What an outstanding facility! Scott County and surrounding areas will definitely benefit from having this modern Health Care Facility open and staffed with knowledgeable and caring people! Great Job to all those involved in making this happen!
