I was born and raised in Montmartre, met my wife Sophie in 11th grade while attending high school there ❣️

Sophie was a great student, me, not so much 🤷🏻‍♂️
Most of my time was spent hanging out in the cafés playing pinball with my buddies 😝
I considered the owners of cafés “Papa du quartier”.
I admired these Men and Women which were story tellers, servers, clowns sometime, and knew everything about anything in regards to Life, hard work, and Paris.
This was the 70’s 🔥 and I so much wanted to be a “Papa du quartier” 😀

I served from 15-17 years old in France and learned the trade of “serveur de café”, I loved it very much 😅
When I turned 18 I headed to California 🇺🇸 to pursue another passion (another story 🏄🏻‍♂️) but as I needed money found myself as a server in “La Tour Eiffel” in Redwood City.
Serving in California was different to say the least 😝
This was the 80’s 🕺🕺🕺

Fast forward…after an incredible career in Action Sports(🏄🏻‍♂️⌚️🏂), 10 years ago today, I opened my “Papa du quartier” café 🇫🇷

Sept 25th 2014, my dream of 40+ years became a reality when MOULIN opened in Newport Beach 🇺🇸🌊🇺🇸

2 people never doubted in me, Sophie and our daughter Kaya ❤️, plenty did…

Today it’s 2024, 8 locations, 200 employees, and an insane brand 💙❤️

Passion, Determination, Drive, and the fact that I’ll never stop thinking as a Parisian kid, is what it took to make my dream come true.

With great employees you get great customers, surround yourself with the best of them, and show up before they do, everything else will fall into place 👍
