We wanted to take a moment to share some exciting news with all of you! Genesis recently purchased a brand new, state of the art (and extremely large!) loader truck! Here are a few photos of the new truck taken on a recent job site with our friends over at Florida Local Team

This new truck coupled with the lift that we purchased last year will help Genesis be more efficient and competitive as we continue to serve Jacksonville and all of your tree service needs. We have also branched out and added a new phone number to our contact roster. You will still be able to reach us on the old number for the office as well as this new number, 904-614-9342, which is mobile and allows our admin staff to answer calls on the go.

We look forward to working with you all for many years to come and sharing new and exciting news in 2022!

We would like to take a moment of dedication for all of the sacrifices made on September 11th, 2001. For all of the first responders, ordinary people who helped, and those we lost we remember you and value your sacrifice.

“With almost no time to decide, [your loved ones] gave the entire country an incalculable gift. They saved the Capitol from attack. They saved God knows how many lives. They saved the terrorists from claiming the symbolic victory of smashing the center of American government. … They allowed us to survive as a country that could fight terror and still maintain liberty and still welcome people from all over the world from every religion and race and culture as long as they shared our values, because ordinary people given no time at all to decide did the right thing.”
—President Bill Clinton in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, in 2011

Our thoughts and prayers are with those being impacted by Hurricane Ida in Louisiana. We have seen first hand the destruction a hurricane can cause and it’s heartbreaking.

Happy Independence Day everyone!

Today marks the day in 1776 when the Second Continental Congress unanimously adopted the Declaration of Independence, signaling the official separation of the 13 original colonies from Great Britain amid the Revolutionary War.

Since that day, July 4, 1776 has been considered America’s “birthday,” making her 245 years old today!

Elsa becomes 1st Atlantic hurricane of 2021 02/07/2021

Everyone stay safe! While Jacksonville is usually fairly safe from hurricanes due to our location, this looks like it may be a crazy hurricane season overall. Be sure to check for limbs or trees that may need to be tended to before the rain and winds soak the city. Excess rain from the outer bands of these storms can uproot even healthy trees with shallow root systems.

Elsa becomes 1st Atlantic hurricane of 2021 Elsa set an early-season formation record and it has become the Atlantic's first hurricane of the year with impacts that will extend from the Caribbean to the United States.

Trees are the longest living organisms on Earth, and never die of old age!

California holds the record for the oldest living trees. Some of the state’s bristlecone pines and giant sequoias are 4,000-5,000 years old. Methuselah, an estimated 4,852-year-old ancient Bristlecone Pine, is one of the oldest living trees in the world.
