As the day's explorations of hidden waterfalls and secluded trails ended, the sun began its descent. We strolled towards a meadow where the setting sun bathed the entire landscape in a gentle, warm glow. In that tranquil setting, Kevin picked up his guitar and sang for Sam, filling the air with a soft melody that harmonized with the sounds of nature. 🎸The raw beauty of their connection against the backdrop of nature's masterpiece, music floating through the last light as the sun fell behind the mountaintops. ⛰️

Last week Olivia and Dallas embarked on a beautiful and intimate elopement adventure in the Upper Peninsula! 🙌

Their journey began with a hike to a magnificent waterfall, where Olivia & Dallas exchanged their vows. 💍 With the serene sound of cascading water as their backdrop, they shared heartfelt, personal promises to each other. I (Kaitlin) had the honor of officiating their ceremony and it was so beautiful!

After the ceremony, they continued their celebration by venturing to a pristine beach. ☀️ Here, they had fun playing and running in the sand with their dogs, sharing the happiness of the day with their sweet pups. 🐕

The day culminated with a breathtaking sunset at the rocky cliffs of Black Rocks. The rugged terrain and crashing waves provided a dramatic landscape. As the sun dipped below the horizon, its warm hues painted the sky, waves crashing against the rocks below. 🌊 It was a moment of pure awe and peace, a fitting conclusion to an epic day filled with love and adventure. ❤️

When you elope in Aruba and make it an incredible adventure! 🌴💍 Our adventure-packed day with Michelle and Steve was an absolute blast! From the moment we stepped off the plane, we knew it was going to be epic. Fast forward to the morning of their elopement and picture this: Michelle rocking a blue ombré skirt for their first look and Steve is just speechless. 💙✨

We kicked off the festivities with a legal ceremony at the courthouse, followed by a breathtaking private beach ceremony. And the adventure didn't stop there! We hopped into a jeep and embarked on an unforgettable coast-hugging journey. 🚙🌊

Cody and I had scouted locations the day before so that on their elopement day they would be able to relax and soak in every moment. From the rugged rocky coast to the enchanting desert landscapes, we paused at different spots, capturing memories that they will never forget. The turquoise blue waters stretched out as far as the eye could see. 😍 It was pure magic!

We will also never forget the fun we had outside of their elopement. Michelle and Steve are the coolest couple ever! Allyson & Dustin had an elegant and rustic barn wedding in September, and it was gorgeous! Their wedding took place at the family farm in Posen, Michigan, which has been in the family for over 100 years. Allyson’s mom and sister helped her with the final touches as she got ready for the day. Meanwhile, Dustin was getting ready with the boys at a house right on Lake Huron! A trolley took us and the groomsmen back to the farm. The ceremony took place outside with a handmade wooden arch and custom flower arrangements. There were happy tears shed by quite a few people, including Dustin!

There's something magical about being surrounded by the beauty of nature. The way the light filters through the trees, the sound of leaves rustling in the wind, and the feeling of the earth beneath your feet. It's a feeling that's hard to put into words, but it's one that we strive to capture in our elopement photography & videography.

While putting together a plan for Jenna & Ryan's vow renewal, we knew that dune riding was something they loved to do and did every year, so we made sure to incorporate that and a few other fun activities on their special day!

Reminiscing Jake & Brittany's beautiful destination wedding! They had their intimate wedding on a sandy white beach in Gulf Shores, Alabama, and rented a large vacation rental where it could all take place! After their ceremony, we slipped away for some wedding couple portraits. The sunset cast the beach with purple hues as Jake & Brittany walked along the shore together. The reception was lit with string lights, and tables surrounded a dance floor where they shared their first dance after sunset! It couldn't have been more perfect!

"When my husband and I started to look into a photographer for our elopement, we were taken aback by how expensive just a photographer would be for our ceremony and pictures afterwards. We found Kaitlin and Cody Meyers through a search on Facebook. I was instantly drawn to their obvious loving relationship with each other and their free spirits. I initially emailed Kaitlin expecting to receive a large quote. Instead she immediately started a conversation about our relationship and what we were looking for in our wedding day to see if we would be a good fit. Kaitlin offered assistance in finding vendors at no extra charge. I knew they were the right fit to help make our wedding day memorable. We were months out from our wedding date and Kaitlin assisted us with getting a permit to have our wedding inside Glacier National Park. She had such a calming presence and asked questions about aspects of our day that we hadn’t even thought of! When the week of our wedding arrived, Kaitlin immediately made contact via text message to remind us of last minute things we needed to complete. She gave us tips on how to get into the park quickly. On our wedding day, we quickly realized my wedding ring had been left back in Indiana. My first instinct was to cry and I text Kaitlin. She assured me that we would make it work for pictures and it really wasn’t a huge deal. My husband was apprehensive about spending the entire afternoon with a couple we had never met on the most important day of our relationship. Our ceremony went off without a hitch and we hardly even realized Cody was snapping our pictures! Kaitlin had even taken information from our previous conversations and incorporated it into our ceremony! Luckily for us, they had already scouted amazing spots for us to take pictures so there were seamless transitions from one spot to the next. They went above and beyond to get the perfect angles and backdrop. It honestly felt like we were on a hike with our friends - zero awkwardness! We ended our day at Lake McDonald where Cody brought his own canoe for our pictures. I was a bit sad when our time together was over; it felt like saying goodbye to new friends. We received our sneak peek photos quickly and I have never seen anything more beautiful. I would 100% recommend Kaitlin and Cody for any elopement or wedding photos. I will always look back fondly on that day and remember how amazing and flawless it was because of their planning and professionalism."

Can you imagine standing in front of a waterfall in Michigan's Upper Peninsula and all of a sudden hearing bagpipes approaching? It feels like being transported to 18th century Scotland, or at least what I imagine it would be like! We got to experience this at Parker & Chelsea's elopement! Incorporating their Scottish heritage was really important to them, so they included a bagpiper and traditional outfit elements, including a kilt and a sword that Parker forged himself!
We started the day with a first look and exploring on the rocky shore of Lake Superior which honestly looks like it could be Scotland, then later had their ceremony in front of a waterfall! They did handfasting during their ceremony, in which a rope made of ribbons that Chelsea had collected was wrapped around their arms. It symbolizes two people becoming one, and it was beautiful!
