Big changes are coming in 2025! The new DOE regulations will take effect for A2L refrigerants. There is a lot of hype and scare tactics about flammability, but that's nothing to worry about as there aren't any added dangers. However, prices will increase between 10-12%, and extra safety equipment will need to be installed by the contractor. Because of these regulatory changes, time is running out if you want a R410a system installed. Removed an old system, due to a corroded outdoor coil, and replaced it with a brand new, 2 stage Rheem. And took the time to make it look way better than it did before.

2.5 ton Rheem 14.3 SEER2 heatpump. This is a 2 stage system, meaning during cooler temps it will operate at 70% capacity, and during the warmer days it will operate at 100% capacity. That ends up meaning better humidity control and lower average electric bills. This home is by Lada Construction. A builder I’ve worked with for 2 decades.
