A huge THANK YOU to all who helped fund this special project over the holidays! With your support, I sent off four dozen custom crib sheets in six premium fabric patterns to their new home at the Methodist Women's Hospital NICU. (With extra fabric left to restock them as needed!) This one’s extra special, as I’m due to have a new nephew born at this hospital any time now! 🥰 The sheets were made with lots of love, in the hopes that a little color brings the NICU babies and their families some comfort, happiness, and peace during their stay. Thank you to all who helped make this happen! ♥️

Hello, beloved friends of Becca Makes Stuff!

A nurse friend of mine, Katie, (also a treasured customer of BMS!) has reached out to me on behalf of the Methodist Women's Hospital NICU, as they are in very low supply of crib sheets and has asked me to sew some for them! She generously offered to cover the cost, but I knew there would be some kindhearted people out here who would be happy to help fund this project so we can get a bunch of these made and fully donated!

I know we justttt missed Giving Tuesday, but if you're still in the spirit, we'd love some contributions to get this going and so I can get sewing! In my estimate, only ~$9 will cover the cost of a custom crib sheet, made with premium cotton fabric (shoutout to Art Gallery Fabrics!) that can withhold the wear and tear of use in the NICU. Anything in excess of our funding goal would be used to include more fabric patterns (and more sheets) and/or sending hats and headbands in addition to the sheets to give to NICU babies. If I go on a complete sewing rampage and make so many sheets that the hospital doesn't need all of them, I'll find another NICU in need to donate to!

I need you guys to know I’ve been working on a clearance sale since this *SPRING*, but apparently since I’ve moved to a new city I’ve become the ✨busiest person in the world✨ (Why yes, we *were* invited to 8 weddings this year…🤪)

But I have been working my little t***y off in whatever spare time I’ve had trying to get a bunch of stuff restocked and the website spruced up to do a big blowout sale!

And here’s the deal…a bunch of the fabric I use has been discontinued by my suppliers. Soooo let’s get it off the shelves and make some room for new stuff, why don’t we?! And because I’ve missed all the good seasonal/holiday sales that I kept aiming for, we’re celebrating the next best thing…my BIRTHDAY! Weeee! So let’s make this thirty-ish girl happy and get some stuff out of my storage bins and sent out in the world, yeah?!

Sale starts on Friday and goes until I feel like it! But remember…the clearance products are not coming back…so if you enjoy anything, get it while you still can!

This is a bittersweet update, friends. If you don’t keep up with me personally, then it’s time to let you know I have made a big change in my life…I’ve moved to Denver! (And yes, it was for a boy, can you believe that?! 🙃) So this is your heads up that your last opportunity to shop with me in person in Nebraska is this coming Saturday, October 1 at the Haymarket Farmers' Market, 8:00a-12:00p. Yes, not only have I been busy moving to a new state, but I immediately set up shop in the new place and have been restocking like mad to make one last Lincoln appearance! (All last minute, as per usual. At least this time I can put Mr. Becca Makes Stuff to work to help out. 😜)

So come out and see me this Saturday, friends…it looks like it’ll be a gorgeous day for one more market day! (pls help me sell out so I have less to haul back to Colorado, kthnx)

This is precious Marina, born to dear friends Laura and Mark in Belfast, Northern Ireland! (That’s right…Becca Makes Stuff has gone international! 😄) It was such an honor to get to meet this sweetie while I’m over the pond and bring her some goodies…this little girl is an absolute miracle, and her parents are so deserving of the angel she is! 🤍
