“Looks fun, let’s do it.” 🦾 The hard part of recreating classic livery work is finding source material for reference. This Chick Iverson VW & Porsche dealership parts and service truck was created off the original VW T2 Van counterpart. Client wanted an ode to the original dealership car but with different sizings to fit their T2 truck body. Every logo is recreated and every font is matched as close as possible for maximum accuracy and fidelity. The original one was painted so we even laminated it in Satin finish for a slight sun-kissed fit and finish. A smile worth a thousand words 😄 . This weekend we got to see client and friend Mike Burroughs push his Ferrari 244 GTK at World Time Attack Challenge 2023 at Sydney Motorsport Park. Mike’s team suffered from some transmission issues early on and had to swap a new Quaife transmission into the car to finally put down some proper laps. Mike’s team worked through the night until close and was able to send it the next. The TRS team was watching the livestream at home cheering him on. We take great pride seeing our livery work on track and in its proving ground. That moment when you see the colors and the owner’s hard work finally hit the track is bliss. We’ll be posting more videos and pics of the event soon. Happy to see it all come together, great work boys and all the partners that came together to make it happen 🤝🏎️🏁 📷

Enjoy some BTS of prepping the Z4 before the Buttonwillow event last weekend. The team worked hard to adapt to the new MVForged wheels. Keeping with true GT3 fashion, we ran 18x11 upfront and 18x13 in rear. The car is running a custom set of split 7 spoke wheels much like the gt3’s counterpart. The team worked many months with to create a bespoke lightweight racing wheels and centerlock adapter combo. The centerlock system was by far the most complicated part but co-owner felt it absolutely necessary to do the kit justice. As for rubber, we opted for a Michelin Pilot Sport GT in their newest N3 Compound you see Porsche 992 Cup Cars running. The fronts sun a 30/65/18 and the rear runs a 31/71/18. Thank you for taking care of the mounting and balancing. The car is running coil-overs and will be dialing in ride height the next few weeks to get it perfect. The hardest part is adapting a full race kit to a streetcar. The things we do just for our machines are unrivaled, a true test of rhe human spirit. The relationship between car and man changes with every moment. Can’t wait for next event.

After a long 8 months of building, our team got to stretch our legs at Buttonwillow Raceway Park and test our Z4 GT3 Street for its first shakedown. Co-owner and team put together a Super Gt Mugen NSX / RedBull test livery for its first showing on track. Amidst some misfiring issues, it made it safely to track and back without a hitch. The car will continue to develop and refine as we set our goals to Big Willow next where we expect to have more of our cars and team out there with us. The team pushes crazy lap records on the sim for Big Willow so we hope to translate it to real life. Circuit Team .r.tyler and had a great time on track and Customer Racing and got to put their track weapons to good use this weekend with only minimal damage. We had a great time providing all the number plates, banners, and graphic design support and brand marketing for Motorsport Academy. It was awesome meeting new faces, connecting with followers of ours, and getting to talk about the Z4 GT3’s debut and future projects with you. Dreams are just dreams until you have a plan… When you find out how to get there, who to speak with, and who can help, that’s when a new journey begins. Every car that comes into our shop we share a piece of their story. However, this Ferrari is special to The Race Studio. We partnered up with to deliver a livery concept that we believe hasn’t been done to this level of detail. Friend and fellow designer .jpg did an amazing job creating a neo-future/retro-modern concept with little bits of industrial military details and flare. Before Blake finished the design, I asked him to come visit our shop. We wanted to show him the possibilities with vinyl colors, finishes, and we even sent some mood boards to help the vision both Mike and him shared. Altogether, this was a collaboration between designers, creators, do-ers, and builders. Two long days of detailed vinyl work and application. I hope you all get to see the car in person one day and I hope we can maybe bring your dream to life too. Thank you for the rad video of the team showing what we do best while conveying our story and all the passion of what we do here. 🏁We met .jjli in 2015/16 during a trackday with . Throughout his s2000’s life he had several liveries. When James asked to design a new one for him we put together this Petronas Livery inspired from both Super GT RCF and Mercedes F1 team. A custom printed Teal and Frozen Chrome stretches across the sides of the car. We paired sponsor logos and accents in jet black to help contrast against his championship white paint. Lastly, we have a custom GT500 Number Plate and Driver Name and flag to complete the look. Custom Number Plates are currently available on our website and Custom Driver Names and Flags decals will be listed next week on our web-store!
