Stronghold is a foam sword-fighting game for youth. Come learn to play this sport and honor Christ.
Stronghold is a safe, outdoor foam sword fighting game with rules and expected conduct. Stronghold’s primary code is: safety first, then play-ability and realism. It’s based off other national battle games, but is designed for youth and encourages Christian spiritual development. Stronghold is a co-ed game for boys and girls, from 5th-12th grades. They learn techniques, do drills to gain muscle memory, and engage in epic battles.

Last Day to make orders. This month we are doing a pampered Chef online party. Each purchase from the party helps our current fundraising goal of buying new bows for Stronghold and helping kids afford camp.

Battle in Berwick May 25th, 2024. Huzzah for a day of Squire Trials and battles.
Today at the Battle in Berwick we had 22 fighters head onto the field for some great fights. Also Squire Jimmy and Squire Elijah tackled their second trial and passed. They will remember this day for their fights in their trials were intense! Huzzah for epic battles and friends!
There is a Stronghold Battle in Berwick tomorrow at Briar Creek Lake Park from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Come and join us for some epic games. Free event if you have a current season pass, $10 if are currently don't. If this your first time playing with Stronghold Ministries you will need to have a parent present to sign a general liability waiver. Bring water and sunscreen. It is going to be epic.
Stronghold Practice in Danville is canceled for today since the majority of helpers and participants are busy with end of the school year programs. See you next week

The team named "Sriracha Boys" won against the three other teams playing. We were impressed at how all the families put zeal into their game play. So much fun and no injuries (praise God), even with the dives and leaps across the field.
Epic Families entered the battlefield May 4 2024. Fathers, sons, and a daughter charged onto the field to play Troll ball.

Troll Ball Tournament is on! (May 4th 2024) We moved to an indoor location in Bloomsburg. We will be at Shiloh Bible Church from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm where 4 teams will meeting for an epic showdown.

There is a Stronghold Troll Ball Family Tournament this Saturday May the 4th, 2024 in Danville from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. This is one of our unique events where we allow parents and even invite 9 year olds to play Stronghold.
Yes, we will play star wars music in honor of the "holiday". And yes, you can wear Star Wars apparel (just make sure you can play the sport comfortably). I will include a link in the comment section with how to sign up. Please sign up by Thursday :)

Some Pictures of our Spring Battle in Berwick 2024. Highlights were Squires: Elijah, Jimmy, and Sam passing their Red trials. Owen passing his Squire War trial. And Edmund passing his initiation and becoming a Squire. Epic battles and it is amazing to see watch these kids grow in skill and strive to "outdo one another in showing honor". It was very windy but a good day.

Stronghold's Battle in Berwick is on for today at Briar Creek Lake Park. From 1pm to 4pm. It should be windy and in the 50's. Hope to see you there.
We have our first Stronghold Battle Event this spring coming up this Saturday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm in Briar Creek Lake Park, Berwick, PA. It is a free event for all current Stronghold club members, new players just need to have a guardian fill out a waiver and pay 10 dollars for hours of epic game play :) Pray for good weather :)

On Saturday Lady Avery hosted a Stronghold day event in Alexandria, VA. Sir Estivan and Lady Elanore taught 10 warriors (some friends who went to last year's overnight camp and some new friends) the basics of using the sword and shield. Our Bible Study discussed our confidence in that we worship a true and living God, not a figment of our imagination ( Looking at 1 Kings 18). I am thankful for the volunteers that helped make the event possible and APC letting us use their church basement.
Thankful that God blessed us with a fun, safe day. Soli Deo Gloria!

In Stronghold Ministries we have a mentorship program. We have been studying an apologetics book called "Cold Case Christianity" by J. Warner Wallace and have been discussing how we got the Bible that we have today and its reliability. Sir Estivan and his wife took 4 of the teens (we call them squires and knights) to DC to the Museum of the Bible to celebrate the last few months of study. Praise God for his abundant blessings, we had a safe trip, good fellowship, and learned alot.

Yesterday we had 24 warriors come out for our St. Patrick's Day Feast and Tournament. The you participated in a free style bracket competition and an apologetics demonstration. I also got to accept two squires officially into our Squire to Knight mentorship program. So thankful for demonstration of skill and honorable conduct. I got to see and hear a lot of these teens focusing on playing for Christ. I was blessed by so many volunteer staff who helped Herald and serve food to over 50 people. Rejoice with me friends for God's abundant blessings. Huzzah!
