The 3:30:3 rule for websites is a guideline that emphasizes the need for capturing and maintaining a visitor's attention quickly and effectively.
It states that your website has:
⏱️ 3 seconds to capture their attention
⏱️ 30 seconds to keep them engaged
⏱️ 3 minutes to deliver your message
Does your website follow the 3:30:3 principle? If not, we can help.
Dandelion Marketing has been building websites that convert for over 20 years. Let’s build a site that they won’t click away from. Request a free quote: https://buff.ly/4d0nHRU

We’re thrilled to unveil a new look that truly reflects our work at Dandelion Marketing.
Our new website is in the works. We can’t wait to show it to you.

And when we’re back in Chicago, we feel ittttt 🎶
We are in Chicago this week at NeoCon Shows!
This is our third year attending the massive commercial furniture event.
Enjoying every minute!
Looking forward to seeing you next week at NeoCon Shows!
If you haven’t yet set up a time with us to gather content with your team, reach out to schedule an appointment.
See you soon!
Melissa has been training our summer intern, Claire, on how to write engaging and compelling captions!
Our in-person days are so valuable for team building (and eating delicious lunches 🤭).
We have a fun new website launch to share!
Seay, Seay & Litchfield is an Alabama-based architecture firm with offices in 4 locations across the state. Founded in 1977, the firm has grown into a powerhouse of architectural innovation. Today, SS&L Architects proudly employs the largest number of registered architects under a single roof in central Alabama. They also take pride in nurturing one of the nation’s premier intern development programs.
This growing firm required a website overhaul that reflects the innovation that they bring to their architecture work. We built a custom WordPress website that serves their operational and recruiting needs and allows the firm to update the site’s content easily in-house.

📣 PSA: Posting your message one time is not enough!
Have you heard of the rule of seven? It’s an old marketing concept that still rings true today. On average, a person will not buy a product or receive the message until they’ve seen it seven times. That’s why you see the same commercial over and over when you watch TV.
So push past the “I’ve posted this already” feeling and REPEAT REPEAT REPEAT.
Scroll through to see why repetition is key and how to make it work for you.
This weekend, we remember service, sacrifice, and selflessness.
We will be closed Friday, the 24th, and Monday, the 27th for Memorial Day. If you have an emergency related to your website or other issues, please email Alli or Kate. If you have an emergency related to your social media account, please email Melissa.
Happy first day to our new summer intern, Claire Collier! We are thrilled to have her on the team.

What a treat to work with Shelly on her new website (live this week!) Shelly is an interior designer working in both residential and commercial spaces. She needed a simple website to share what she does, a sampling of her work, and a way to reach out to her.
Our one-page starter website was the perfect fit to get her online in a professional and budget-friendly way.
Follow Shelly on IG at or visit her new website here: https://buff.ly/3QCwC39

Every big business had to start somewhere.
Our growing team was started by just one--25 years ago!
We suggest supporting a small, and better yet, local business today as the perfect way to celebrate!
Happy one year work anniversary to our vintage-loving, estate sale scouting, Assistant SMM Caroline! 🤠
From crafting social media content to creating genius workflow automations, Caroline adds a bit of magic to every project she touches! 🪄 In just one year, she’s grown into an integral member of our team, and we are just SO happy to have her at Dandelion Marketing.
Cheers to many more years 🥂

We love working with foundations!
Our website design services serve a wide range of business and organization types. We do, however, have specialized, industry-specific themes that allow groups to have a professional site at a lower cost than a custom website design and build. One group we work with regularly is foundations and charitable organizations.
Foundations rely on clear, compelling websites to convey their missions effectively. Our focus on intuitive navigation ensures volunteers, donors, and supporters easily discover how and when they can make a difference.

The Seed is out!
This month we share one easy thing to grow existing customer relationships, teach you how to master repetition, and share some exciting news (we’ll be in Chicago this June wink, wink).

If so, be sure to add requesting a review to that checklist! Make it easy for them by providing a clickable link directly to your reviews area on Google.

Content creation is such a fun part of what we do!
Working with a wide range of contract furniture industry clients has us spending a lot of time thinking about how to present furniture in new and interesting ways.

Were you lucky enough to catch a glimpse of today’s Solar Eclipse?
Kate had an amazing view from Southern Illinois (right in its path)! Swipe to see the awesome photo she took during totality.
Kate told us, “Under the total eclipse it looked like late evening when you’re about to lose the last of daylight. The street lights came on. Hard to describe seeing it. It’s just awesome looking. Stunning really. A bit otherworldly. The photos do not do it justice at all. If you ever get a chance to see a total eclipse, don’t miss it.”
Thank you, Kate, for sharing!
Have you been trying to do it all yourself, and it just isn’t happening?
Something else always comes up that seems more pressing than creating a new social post. We get it.
