We now have around 50 ponchos and just about as many hats! Lots of jewelry and now felted critters!
Weekend #2! We’ll be back at Graves Mountain Apple Festival this coming weekend! Hope to see you there!
Thanks to all who came out to Treasure Mountain in Franklin, WV! We had a beautiful weekend as we introduced many people, old and young, to needle felting and spinning wool. Plans are in the making for kool aid dyeing and more needle felting at next year's festival!
It was wonderful to see so many old friends and meet lots of new ones! Our ride home was lit up by the beautiful full moon guiding us over the mountains. However, Scooby-van screamed all the way up Shenandoah Mountain with a top speed of 30 mph.-3450 feet above sea level and 44 switch backs. I think she strained a bit too hard and now she will be seeing the mechanic this week to find out why she is over heating. :( Thankfully we made it home before we had a major catastrophe!!!
Our next adventure is at Graves Mountain and we will be there the first 3 weekends in October. Come out to see us and enjoy the Apple Festival. :)
Treasure Mountain time is here! We have so many new ponchos this year, over 50 hats, and over 250 jewelry sets as well as our millions of earrings. I will be demonstrating fiber arts and eating a cinnamon bun from time to time! Tina will be showing all the different ways you can wear our ponchos and making the crabcake sandwich run for our lunch! If you can't make this one then Graves Mountain is right around the corner!!! First 3 weekends in October!
It's that time of year again and we are busy getting ready to take off to the mountains of West Virginia! We'll be at Treasure Mountain in Franklin, WV (rt 33 and 220) all weekend. We have a 10x20 spot, as always, and I'm wondering if it will even be big enough to display all that we will be bringing!
I'll be demonstrating and talking about the old art of spinning wool on my spinning wheel and maybe a few other fiber arts activities will be on the agenda as well!
We have lots of new jewelry, ponchos, hats and scarves. Yes! we have hats! Over 50 of them! All colors and fiber types! Stop by to see us and the other heritage crafters at this event. We will all be set up Friday, Saturday all day and on Sunday until 3:00. Basket makers, hand lathe wood workers, blacksmith, quilting, and more!
Make sure you get a list of all that is going on this weekend: from the parade & concerts to the giant pumpkin contest! We'll have it all! :) plus.... lots of good stuff to eat! :)
Update! Due to a wet and rainy day in Berkeley Springs today we decided to stay home! It was a difficult decision but after going over several weather maps at 3:30am we decided it would be best to not go. 😢
Tomorrow will be the last day for the Berkeley Springs Arts in the Park for us this year. Hope to see you there!!!
Thanks for making this one of our best years ever in the park. Stay safe and we hope to see you soon!
Next show starts September 17 in Franklin, West Virginia!!! Treasure Mountain!!!

Happy Saturday! As you may know, we spent last Sunday in Berkeley Springs, WV on Sunday and then returned home to spend a quiet day of reflection as we celebrated Memorial Day.
We've been working on replenishing some of our items since we sold quite a few ponchos! We'll even have some little girl ponchos ready for our next Arts in the Park in Berkeley Springs!
Our next trip up there will be June 13 and then again on the fourth of July! We're hoping for great weather and a great turn out! Hope to see you there!
Also, my 'Zen Room', as Tina calls it, is ready for more Tarot readings. For the month of June and July I'll be doing them by donation. This means whatever you wish to donate is good. Just message me your email and questions and I'll get your reading sent over to you as soon as I can.
I'm also about to do some chakra cleansing and sound bath sessions! Let me know if you are interested and I will send you more information!!!
And look for information on a home show here! Jewelry, ponchos, paintings and more!!!
Greetings! Once again, I'm making a new start! It's been, without a doubt, a trying year! After being sick with COVID-19, I went on a well deserved vacation with my daughter and took a hard fall while hiking. After hitting my head on a rock on a mountain in the desert of Nevada I am now healing from a concussion and contusion. I'm beginning to feel the effects of healing as after 2 weeks I'm finally able to open my mouth to eat...not all the way yet but it's much better!
And now the good news! My sister and I are beginning our Arts and Crafts 2021 show schedule with a stop up in Berkeley Springs, WV. We'll be going there 2 times a month until September!
My 20 year old scooby van has been inspected, gased up, had a new battery installed and it even got all the pollen washed off it today! We are ready to hit the road with lots of new jewelry, ponchos and more! (my sister will be driving since I still can't drive until I see my next doctor in June!)
AND.....I'm planning to do a home show here in Ladysmith, VA and will post more about that later along with dates and times of a few other shows we have planned to do.
Thanks for your patience and understanding on my slow start to 2021!
A simple necklace and earrings set made of jasper, glass seed beads, pewter and hypo-allergenic hooks is now available for just $28 plus shipping! (I promise that better pictures are in my future!)
Meanwhile, if you need additional information, just message me!
I will be putting up some more 3 card choices from time to time as I figure out how to best post them without the technical issues! These are for fun and designed to make you think of what is going on with you in your life. We don't always take a look at ourselves the way the cards make us do and sometimes it's just good to reflect on what we can do to connect to our highest self and become the best we can be.
If you would like a full reading I would be happy to do one for you. I now have 2 Tarot Reader certifications and I'm currently working on my Tarot Advisor certification. Detailed readings for the month of April and May will be $10. Message me with your questions and email address for a reading designed for your needs.
Thanks and have a good night!
For fans of agate, jade, moon glass and pewter here's a new set ready to go for only $25 plus shipping. After a year of not being able to make jewelry due to vision issues and then covid, I'm back up and ready to go. Let me know what you think of this!
If you chose card #1 then your message is the 6 of Pentacles. This is a card of give and take. This could be interpreted in different ways depending on your individual circumstance. It could mean that you have been the one giving and maybe it's time for you to learn how to be ok with doing some taking. Or, it could be the opposite. Maybe you've been taking and now it's your time to give. Another possibility is that it could mean that you are in a give and take situation or relationship. Think about what's going on in your life and see which interpretation resonates best with you!
Now, if you chose card #2 you have chosen the Magician! This is a major arcana card that signifies an important event in your life. At this time you should know that you have all the tools you need to manifest the things you need in your life. Energy moves through him and he doesn't try to control it. He understands that this is the Universe working through him. This can signify a new phase in your life, one full of creativity and purpose. Time to make a decision and take action!!!
If card #3 was your card you got the Hanged Man. This is another major arcana card that brings a message that is beyond your every day tasks and routines. This hanging man could be telling you it’s time to turn your life around and view life from a different perspective. His face shines with light and he knows that it no longer matters what people think of him. Depending on your life and situation it could mean that you are stuck and unable to right yourself up to move on.
Greetings again! I'm still on the mend and it's been a very up and down road for the past couple of months. Mostly the battle is with the fatigue that hits me hard. If I try to do something it's 2-3 days before I'm back up and ready to go again. So, thanks for bearing with me as I work through it all!
Today I've pulled 3 cards for you to pick from. Choose the one that most feels right to you and wait for the message. I'll post it down below...you will just need to scroll down! :)
With Mercury out of retrograde and the full snow moon last night we get to start our new week with the Ace of Wands! As we begin another cycle of releasing what no longer serves us, we welcome new beginnings and the promise of opportunities. We see this Ace with its new growth, creativity, motivation and inspiration leading us into the week! We are encouraged to follow our passions and use these new opportunities to work through any challenges we may encounter as we manifest our desires!
Greetings! And... I had another set back (they don't seem to end sometimes)! Due to the COVID-19 virus hitting my house I've been a bit under the weather, and covers! First me and then my son having what we thought was just a bad cold. We hadn't been anywhere and never suspected it was anything more than just that...a cold. He had to get tested for work and when he came home positive I ran to the doctor. This is about the strangest thing I've had yet. Just when I start to feel better it all hits me again. These moments of writing are some of my in between chills and fever minutes!
I did manage to ask the Universe for a message for all my followers for this week and the card I pulled was the Knight of Wands.
The Knight of Wands, I am happy to say, is an indication of things getting better!! Just what I needed to hear!! We shouldn't rush into anything just yet though, not without thinking through what we want to accomplish or do. This is a card of action and this Knight has an open mind and is ready for what lays ahead of him! Let me know what your plan of action is for the rest of the week! Mine plan is to get better without trying to over do things. Have a good week!!!
The frame came in for my poster!
