If you saw my post yesterday about my thrift store score of this mid-century record player/stereo cabinet, here’s how it turned out in my home 🏠! Fits well in front of the window and looks great holding my new cacti 🌵! Love 💗 it! It has some flaws, but it’s more than what I would have expected for a $12 plant stand! 🙌 Score! The plant stand next to it was also purchased at the thrift store yesterday!

My thrift store score of the day! I went in to find a plant stand because I’m amassing a jungle in my front room! 😳 Back behind two exercise bikes and some j***y tables, I found this 1960s mid-century modern stereo cabinet for $15.99, and then I had a $3 off coupon! Score! 🤩 Cleaned it up and preserved it with some wood oil. It’s still in rough shape, but it’s good enough for some plants! 🪴 🪴 Thanks to my husband for indulging me and picking up my thrift store finds when they won’t fit in my Tesla 😂

Oh and I did find an actual plant stand too! 🪴

Congrats to these buyers for finding the perfect duplex to house 🏡 hack! Getting an owner-occupant loan means you save money with a lower interest rate and a lower down payment requirement, while having tenants in the other unit makes it so someone else pays the mortgage! 🙌 House hacking is an excellent way to build an investment portfolio if you can owner-occupy. And did I mention that we not only negotiated a discount from the list price, but also we negotiated for the seller to pay for a rate buy down, and some of the closing costs! This was the right time and the right property for these buyers, and I’m so glad we snagged the deal!
