Raising Goldens Retrievers with health and fun as my number one hope and goal! My Story: I have always loved dogs. In 2010 I bought five Golden Retrievers.

I grew up on a small farm with three dogs and a horse. In 2006 I started doing dog chores for two different dog breeders any time they went on vacation or just needed a break. My husband and I had also raised goats from 2005-2010. We showed goats (placing overall champion at the Nebraska state fair and getting some champions at the Iowa State Fair) and were in a couple of Iowa State University stu

dies. The goats were a lot of fun but a great deal of work (trimming hooves with goats that didn't want their hooves trimmed, neuterings, the birthing process was also difficult). We had decided to sell the goats when we got a good offer on our goats and decided to take the step in raising dogs. I knew that I wanted to spend more time with the dogs than with buyers and that is why I decided to become USDA licensed. I sell my dogs both to a broker and privately. I know there is so much politics and emotion when it comes to puppies. I care for my puppies very deeply - and for their parents. Because my dogs and puppies health is my #1 goal (along with my families), I will not be ashamed to sell my puppies to a pet store. Did you know that USDA comes twice a year with unannounced visits - sometimes bringing a vet, along with AKC inspections? Health: In 2007 we found out that what you eat really matters. Our third son has gluten sensitivities and I am sure it is because I didn't care about how I nourished my body very much. So, I studied the book Nourishing Traditions by Sally Fallon (a must read for everybody!) I learned about the importance of bone broth, fish oil, and probiotics. Fortunately for my dogs this has carried through to them too. Because my beef bones are boiled so well I have no scares of giving them to my dogs and I have two other friends that believe in consuming bone broth daily too - so my dogs get their fill of digestible calcium in those left over bones. I am a firm believer in fish oil and probiotics so my dogs get that every day as well. My dogs get outside whenever they want with their inside/outside kennels. The dogs also get to run in a pasture 2-4 times per day. I also have 4 sons which all love to spend time in the kennel. My oldest has shown a couple of dogs through 4H and he does a great job scrubbing kennels down. My second son is usually found just playing with the puppies, but he often brushes dogs too. My third son's favorite place to be is in the kennel with the dogs. Because we desire for our kids to have an education centered on Christ, I raise these dogs. I really do spend most of the profits back on the dogs with supplements and toys, but any other profits from puppies help us to support Christian Education. Tuition is expensive for a Christian High School and three in elementary school. I hope that you may be blessed by my dogs because they are completely full of love!

Free pup... this pup did have a home. But unfortunately this pup has one of those very rare conditions that will need a surgery. She has an ectopic ureter and will need a specialized surgery that will cost 1.5-2 grand. Other than that she is completely healthy. She is so sweet, calm, and quiet.
