All library locations will open at 10:30am on Wednesday, September 11 due to staff training.

Storytime will still take place at the West Regional Library in Luling at 10:30, and closing times will not change!

September is Library Card Sign Up Month--do YOU have a library card?

If you said yes, thank you! But WE know that YOU know someone who doesn't.

Tell them to get a card, and you'll both be entered into a drawing for a library prize pack that includes either a Kindle Paperwhite or Fire Tablet for each of you.

Join LSU AgCenter - St. Charles Parish horticulture agent Alyssa Tarrant for an interactive discussion on soil and fertility management. Bring 2 cups of your soil and 1 cup of your irrigation water to learn how to optimize fertilizer applications for your home lawn and gardens.

Prime Time is back, and we are excited to bring it to the St. Rose Branch beginning Tuesday, September 10 for its 6-week run for families with 6 to 10 year olds!

Each Prime Time session begins with a shared family dinner and continues with readings and discussions of award-winning children’s books that your family gets to keep!

Art Squad Advanced is back! Set your art goals for the year and dive into "Anatomy Part One," where we will go over the basics of silhouettes, form, and good dynamic stick figures at the East Regional Library on Tuesday, September 3 at 5:30pm.

Art Squad Advanced is a monthly program that lets you develop your artistic skills, learn different art techniques, and get real instructions from professional comic artist Becca Hillburn. From discussing color theory to how to put together a portfolio, this program is designed to refine your artistic skills, whether you enjoy art as a hobby or want to turn art into a career.

All St. Charles Parish Library locations will be closed Monday, September 2 for Labor Day.

Regular hours resume Tuesday, September 3.
