This lifestyle allows us to have a minimal water and carbon footprint, while exploring the natural resources of this planet. Well, we’re back in the saddle. On a short, 3-day sojourn through Tuscany - one of Sarah’s dreams! First day started out WET pedaling from Florence up into the hilly wine region. Luckily, the rain cleared and everything but our shoes dried out. We’re definitely out of bike touring shape and took a lot of butt breaks 🤣 Made it to the medieval hilltop town of San Gimignano that was founded around 450 when the city was given its name! Bruschetta, pizza, wine, and gelato caps off our night. Round 2 tomorrow!
