Welcome to the Hospital Room at Cork's Place Kids Grief Center!🏥🩺🧸
This is one of the rooms that Cork's Place participants utilize with dramatic play during programming.
We often relate the hospital setting to crisis, illness, death, and other stressful incidents. However, this room offers a fun and safe environment to normalize the hospital setting. 🤕🩺🧸
During sessions, the volunteers and stuffed animals are often the patients that the kids are "treating." They talk about what they have experienced, how it makes them feel, and how they are coping with it.

Reminder: you're human and it's okay to have a bad day. You're not alone 💙 We're here for you. Call or text 988 or chat with us online at 988lifeline.org/chat.

Confusion and lethargy can be two symptoms you may experience when you have a urinary tract infection (UTI), particularly in older adults.
According to Healthline, older adults may not always show the classic signs of a UTI. The common symptoms of a UTI are burning pain and frequent urination but older adults may also experience behavioral symptoms such as confusion.
Here are a few tips to lessen the chance of infection:
• Drinking plenty of fluids
• Changing incontinence briefs frequently
• Avoiding bladder irritants, such as caffeine and alcohol
Learn more about UTIs in older adults at mychpw.info/UTIOlderAdults.
If you suspect that you or a loved one has a UTI please contact your medical provider.
