Just want to out this out. I'm still seeing this statement. HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY. please, please, please don't say Happy. Our men and women of this country died serving this nation. It's not a Happy day for their families. Try A BLESSED MEMORIAL DAY instead. Just saying.

Toot our own Horn. I thoroughly enjoyed our Subday School lesson morning by Chuck Henry. I learned something very valuable. So many of us don't like to Toot our own Horn at giving credit for what we do. Chuck mentioned about Jesus and sending His disciples out to do what he had taught them, ie. healing, etc. That was a form of Jesus was ting to know what He had taught His disciples, which was a form of Tooting their own Horn. We as Men of God need to take heed to this lesson and Toot our own Horn about what God has blessed us with. If He gave us that gift, then get after it and TOOT YOUR OWN HORN. Thank you to Chuck and our men's Sunday School class.
Got to have the honor of laying tonrest an Air Force Veteran today. Only knew him for a year but a wonderful God- fearing man. Myself and Mike Perez had the honor of folding and presenting the flag to his lovely bride Marbeth Daniels. Not many dry eyes in the audience whe TAPS was played. Always gets me teray eyed as well. Thank you Marbeth for allowing me to be a part of this joyous Heavenly occasion. I will see you soon in heaven Dennis Daniels.
Reaching out to all my friends and family today. My question to you is How Are You Today? Have you done a self-check or have you reached out to someone to do a BUDDY CHECK? Each day that you get out of bed, our first thing to think about is make sure you are OK and then check on others. God has given you the very breath that you deserve. Making the best of your day is important. If you deal with your inner demons, get on your knees and thank God for another day. Also realize you are loved by Him and by myself. Keep strong and be strong. Remember ITS OK TO NOT BE OK. GET HELP.

Getting a chance to volunteer with Longview Connects. Awesome group to work with. Volunteering passing 455 lunches for participants and coaches for Special Olympics.
I see it all the time, people needing help from God. My question is when do you ask for it, only when you need it or all the time. Scripture tells us in Psalms 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. If we get sick, we go to a clinic or if we break something we go to the ER to get it fixed. Why don't we go to God all the time and not when it's convenient for you in your time of need and not during God's time of need. He's always there just ask?
Today is national Vietnam Veterans Day. We as a country need to recognize everyone's service during this conflict. Since our country didn't recognize their sacrifice before. Don't ever forget what they did. The majority of them have passed on or are having several health issues due to what they experienced. They came home to an unexpected horrible welcome. This is a portrait donated to our non-profit H.E.A.R.T. It depicts 2 Vietnam Veterans contemplating life in Vietnam.
