I look forward to this every year and I recommend it to so many patients... It’s 5 days of delicious bone broth and bone broth based soups... with support and guidance from ... it. Is. Awesome. And yessss it is perfectly safe and encouraged during pregnancy. I’m of course eating more food than just the soups this time around to make sure baby gets everything she needs... an extra boost of bone broth goodness will do me and the baby good.

Calm in a cup 🙏🏼 Give me all the anti-stress magic ✨ This product is the perfect gateway drink into life with magnesium 💕 Magnesium deficiency is so common, it can present itself in many ways: anxiety, digestive problems, fatigue, cardiovascular problems, and more. I always try to be conservative with supplement recommendations… But magnesium is usually on the list. is great because you can find it in most stores and it’s mild enough to dip your toe in the pool of magnesium cocktails. Give it a try before bed (or before a stressful day ) and zen out … 🧘♀️

Every time I’m on the West side I get this salad from … 💕 They make kale taste like a steak dinner. 🤤Topped her with juicy piece of grilled salmon. Arguably the best salad I’ve ever had. Bravo ! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Is this breakfast weird?! 🤔(Note: I already ate the egg... preggo problems 🤰🏻)... I’ve been so busy in the clinic lately ... which is good because I love working... but really bad because more and more people are sick. Since I work for a cardiologist, I mainly see patients with heart disease and diabetes. And when I tell them to eat this very breakfast: sautéed spinach, 1/2 sweet potato, avocado, kraut + an egg or 2.... they react as if I tell them to eat a hamster or something totally ridiculous. 🤷🏻♀️ That’s because we’ve been conditioned to think that breakfast must come from a box or convenience food. If you simply make the potatoes ahead of time and store in fridge, this breakfast only takes 5 min.... Once my patients get used to a breakfast similar to this most of them report improvement in symptoms. Then we move on to the rest of the day... soon they feel so much better and test results show improvement... moral of this story is: THIS BREAKFAST IS NOT WEIRD. It builds a strong healthy body... please try it!

Proud / happy / excited to share food products that truly support health and happiness 💕 5 years ago the term “pasture raised” was foreign to most. Now it’s as well known as free range, organic, and non-gmo 👏🏼👏🏼Which is a testament to positive changes in our food system. Yes, it sucks that we have to have so many labels… But at least trust worthy brands have emerged from the chaos of labeling. Brands like listened to the demand of health conscious consumers and answered with a new product. Bravo! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I’m honored to share these new organic pasture raised eggs with my health conscious community. 🤗 I have a new favorite egg brand that’s for sure! 💕

Struggle With Hormone Imbalance? Read This. Zinc Nutrition Struggle With Hormone Imbalance? Read This. Toaster waffles! 😍 these paleo toaster waffles are a preggo lifesaver. 👏🏼 The biggest lesson I’ve learned since being preggo is: eat the second you wake up. Gone are the days of casually sipping matcha then homemade waffles 😩 this mama needs to eat the second my eyes open. So toaster waffles have become a staple... something I never would have allowed before 🤣🤣 ohhh well I’ll get back to my homemade waffle master days soon enough. 🤷🏻♀️

Office snacks 👀 peep the pickled okra next to the eggplant 💕 I’ve said it before and I’ll sing it from the rooftops: Okra is one of the healthiest foods on the planet. It has a unique type of fiber that supports the good bacteria in your digestive system. It’s a prebiotic which is a hot topic right now... but skip the weird prebiotic fibers... just eat OKRA (and not the deep fat fried kind 🙄) ... I was lucky to find this pickled okra at the farmers market... but You can always find okra in the frozen section of your local grocery store.

Food is looking a little more colorful these days 🌈 Veggies are still nauseating 🤢but I realized that pre washed and cut portions are a little easier. 🤷🏻♀️ Something about preparing veggies turns me off, its SOOOO weird because washing, chopping, and preparing veggies used to be my favorite pass time. Now my fridge and freezer is full of veggies in disguise.

Spent the day in New Hampshire with Innate Response and MegaFoods (did you know it’s the same company?!)… I toured the production facility to see how their products are made. I’m so impressed! As you know… I’m crazy picky when it comes to supplements because there are so many low quality products. (Beware!) 🙈So I jumped at the opportunity to go behind the scenes. I’M SO IMPRESSED. The ingredients, processing, potency, packaging, and purpose are excellent. After seeing how products are made, I trust them wholeheartedly. (And I’m proud to give them to my growing baby) So excited to partner with this beautiful company! 🤗

We have a bun in the oven! 🤰🏻Our little pastry is due on Valentines Day 💕 Already the sweetest little thing 🍭. It’s a baby GIRL and we are so excited 👏🏼 You may (or may not) have noticed my lack of activity on here.... mainly because I’ve been focusing on growing a healthy human ... partly because I’ve been too nauseous to eat veggies and scrolling through Instagram made me 🤢🤢 because it’s all healthy food... but that seems to be passing 🤞🏻🤞🏻 so hopefully I’ll get back to posting nutritious food. I’m also going to do an Instagram live tomorrow all about my first trimester (it’s been interesting to say the least) so stay tuned if you’re interested! 🤗🤗

Better late than never I suppose, just wish they would admit that these chemicals are harmful to every human, not just children.
Avoid these food chemicals, pediatricians say The American Academy of Pediatrics has called for parents and children to avoid certain chemicals used in food processing that may be harmful to child development.
