Sylvester Balloon Release
In remembrance of our cherished team member Sylvester. In Ghana, the tradition of wearing black and red attire during funerals carries deep cultural significance. Red represents their intimate connection to the person who passed away. It’s a way of expressing their deep grief and loss. Black reflects their sorrow and acknowledges the pain of losing a loved one. Distant relatives and well-wishers also wear black to show solidarity with the grieving family. We will miss you Sylvester, you'll always be a part of the Beckett family 💙

Beckett Springs Help for Heroes Programming
Beckett Spring continues to expand our programming. New Help for Heroes Outpatient Programming starts today. Learn more about who will be leading this program below. "My name is Jon Habig. I’ve been a police officer for the City of Hamilton Police Department for over 20 years. I’ve worked as a patrol officer, detective, patrol sergeant, and now a training sergeant. I became interested in focusing on the mental health of first responders a few years ago and decided to go back to school and work towards a masters degree in clinical mental health counseling. I’m also a husband and father of three. I own a dog, two cats, and a horse. My motivations to get my LPC are based on seeing how stress and trauma have impacted my coworkers and me. In my twenty-year career, I’ve personally known two first responders who died from suicide. I’ve also worked with several first responders who have been placed on 72-hour mental health holds at local hospitals. I’ve seen families destroyed because the first responder in their family didn’t know how to handle the trauma and chronic stress. I’m also frustrated with the stigma towards mental health services that’s often found in first responder communities. I think educating first responder communities and working to reduce that stigma can lead to more fulfilling lives and careers for first responders. I think first responders with less stress will be better equipped to make choices in critical moments, leading to safer responses and better outcomes for their communities. Military veterans make up a large portion of first responder jobs. They tend to fit in those jobs well, but sometimes they are still dealing with leftover stress and trauma from the military. I really just hope to help the people I care about as I progress through my different career roles. Respectfully, Jon Habig" Call us at 513.942.9500 for more information or to get help today.
