Getting the Call on MONDAY from a Wife who's Husband is going to be discharged home soon, but their Home needs Modifications to be done ASAP to keep him safe when he comes home, TUESDAY CE went to the home to access what needs done, WEDNESDAY giving Estimate, THURSDAY we get the call Modification Estimate Excepted and Patient is being discharged TOMORROW Friday...Well FRIDAY Juan @ Caring Environments installed a Comfort height higher toilet, and 8 grab bars, including finishing the last one 10 minutes before patient was discharged! What an Amazing Event put on by WNYIL yesterday, July 26th, 2023 as Caring Environments Celebrated Disability Pride with Our Community, Community & Government Leaders & Officials, Multiple Agencies, Businesses, Individuals, and Many Advocates Celebrating 33 years of Equality & Empowerment as We raised the Flag to Honor the Disabilities Act (ADA) that was signed into law in 1990.

Caring Environments is so Proud to be a part of this Amazing Event and a Resource to Help Individuals find Products & Services to help them Maintain thier Independence. Thankful for ALL the wonderful people who stopped by our Carnival Themed Tent and played games, picked up bags of Popcorn & Water, and took selfies with us, and shared this beautiful day with us while seeing and hearing about the many resources that are out there!

This Legislation was a huge step forward in Advocating for the Rights & Equal Opportunities of People with Disabilities.

Seeing our Community come together and cheer on all the progress we have made by making sure EVERY person served, regardless of their abilities, and can grow, thrive, and contribute with their amazing unique talents. From Beautiful readings of poetry, Heartfelt Singing, and an Amazing DJ who played great music to get everybody moving and dancing, and smiles, laughter, and fun that will make this day a lasting Memory for so many! It's almost as sweet as the scooter (a GoGo Elite Traveller by ) you see in the pic which I was ironically gifted one week after my "Scooter Life" podcast episode (link in bio) with MS Gym member msjodijohnson. I can honestly say, after the interview, I had no qualms about jumping on this scooter and livin' it up! I even have attachments (not seen in pic) that can hold both my trekking poles and/or a larger basket on the back of the scooter. Everything I need to get the job done and have fun doing it.
