MICF Foundation has partnered with the Wells Family to set up a new grant program, The Jennifer Wells Tuesday Lunch Grant, to support the Tuesday Lunch at The Gate Youth Association. Tuesday Lunch is put on by a group of local moms weekly throughout the school year. High School teens can attend for the cost of $2 each week, eat a delicious home-cooked meal, and hear a short inspirational message from a community member.
The program was very special to Jennifer Wells, who both worked with and supported the Tuesday Lunch program. Jen passed away recently from a rare and aggressive cancer; it was her wish to create a legacy that would keep the Tuesday Lunch program going for the future.

For 7 years, Jen Wells was our ROCK and the BEST ‘mom’ager (manager) for us all at MFC! She managed to always keep that smile on her face, even during this 3 year battle.
Sadly, Jen passed away peacefully on November 17th surrounded by her family. 🤍
Jen will forever remain apart of the MFC family, and will be greatly missed by everyone here!

A huge should out to our Central School District teachers who’ve been coming TWICE a week for almost 10 weeks of bootcamp! After long days of them motivating and teaching our kids, this is the time we motivate THEM, and we’re glad to be able to help 🙌🏼🏋🏼♀️
