Losing Nick has been the hardest thing my family has ever been through. It’s a never ending pain we live with. Did you know that most people who struggle with mental health are the kindest, most loyal compassionate empathetic souls you’ll ever have the privilege of knowing? It’s true. They love their people! We live in a society that places judgment on everything. I can tell you that Nick was not crazy, was not seeking attention, nor was he the next shooter. He was the exact opposite!! He wanted to make the world a better place! Most people who struggle in silence do so because of fear they’ll be judged as crazy, attention-seeking, even the next shooter. This is not the case!!!
