Playing music, dancing, juggling, most anything that can be done in a theatrical setting can be done in the street.

We, The Two of Us (from Las Cruces, NM), recently had occasion to go to San Antonio, TX. And although research showed that busking was allowed (no fees) on Houston St. and in Travis Park, we noticed hardly any activity on Houston St. and The park was over crowded with bands of homeless. Plenty of tourist activity on the river walk but, busking is not allowed there. Oh, and parking was $15 for a minimum of 4 hours.
A couple of guys feeling it and doing it!
