VA updates home loan benefits, helping Veterans remain competitive in the housing market - VA News VA has announced an update to the home loan guaranty, helping to ensure that Veterans remain competitive buyers.

Coming up on 4 years of having my office inside the South Dakota Military Heritage Alliance, Inc. building. I can't help but be grateful for having the opportunity of being in such a unique facility that supports Veterans. As a VA Loan Specialist, I couldn't find a more perfect spot to do what I do.

Some things to great things about the Alliance:

- IT'S OPEN TO EVERYONE! Anyone can come visit and use or rent the facility. You don't have to be a Veteran.
- THERE'S A GUN RANGE! Minimum age of using the range is 8 years old but it's open to anyone. Firearm classes may also be available from time to time.
- RENT A SPACE FOR AN EVENT! There are all sorts of spaces for rent for events of all types including the main floor. Anyone can rent these spaces.
- FAMILY ROOM! The family room is a huge space full of games and activities for all ages. This too is available for anyone to rent for an event.
- DAILY LUNCH SPECIALS! Aside from the full menu that the Patriot Grill offers, there are daily lunch buffet-style specials. Anyone can come in and enjoy a meal.
- CONCERTS! The Alliance books concerts on the regular so keep an eye out on upcoming ones. VIP balcony lounges are also available to rent during concerts. Anyone can buy a ticket to these events.
- BAR! Club Lobo is a full bar that's open everyday. Open to anyone who wants to have an adult beverage.

The Alliance offers tons of other things to do. The important thing to remember is that the facility is open to anyone and everyone, not just Veterans.

VA Funding Fee on Purchases have been reduced for VA loans closing on or after April 7, 2023 and prior to November 14, 2031

As always, VA Funding fees are waived for Veterans with at least 10% Service-Connected Disability

I'm thankful for family and friends who have supported me through the years. Thankful for my co-workers, clients and partners for your continued support. Thank you for trusting me and allowing me to help you.

There's so much more on my list to be thankful for, but one of the most I'm thankful for, are those that gave up their freedom so we can have ours. Let's all keep our deployed troops and their families in our hearts as we gather with ours and give thanks for all they do.
