If y'all are looking for something to do, come out to watch Sherman's new Minor League team, the Shadowcats, at Veterans Field. Baseball, half price margaritas, SGE's finest, and the Mavs game.
Hey amazing followers! We have a major change in the works for SGE. I wanted to take a moment to touch a bit on the transition so that everyone is aware and that there is no confusion.
I want to start off by saying that SGE is NOT going out of business, so please be reassured of that. As most know, this company was started by my sister and me many years ago. The SGE standards set has been based on knowledge and skills that we had accessed at a young age and have grown it into the premier standard of service SGE is known for today. We treat every event we are staffed to work, with care and professionalism, and have grown our company from a few dozen events the first year, to shy of a thousand events a year now. Thank you for all your support on that! It has truly been a blessing to work on so many wonderful events side by side with my sister, Chelsea, and to grow our "baby" to what it is now.
So for the news, my sister, Chelsea, has unfortunately moved to start her new journey with her husband and kids all the way in Alabama. This has been in the works for a couple of months and has been quite an adjustment for both of us.
Chelsea has always been more than just a business partner to me. She has been my best friend our whole lives, my literal neighbor, confidant, non-paid psychologist (everyone needs one π), and so much more. Obviously, this change has been more than just getting business matters handled, as this has been hard on both of us emotionally, physically, mentally, etc. I love her undoubtedly and wish her the best of luck and am excited for the next chapter in her life.
As for SGE, I will be handling things solo for the moment, and my spouse, Charles, previously with La Colina Catering, will be helping me out in the coming months. We ask for a bit of patience through this transition as we handle everything, while also gearing up for a busy remaining April and even busier May and June.
Thank you for all your cooperation, support, and understanding, and best of luck and love to you, Chelsea! β€οΈ
