At the end of the season not only will we present an award to the highest academic score but we will also send the coach to the school to present an award in front of his peers. Good test scores, homework, or a note of a good deed/job well done will go in this box. At the end of each practice the coaching staff will read them and make a big deal out of it. Each team will be required to help with the clean-up and any other service needed to the provider of the game/practice field. Also, our program will offer a “shoe bank” that players can donate their used cleats for any kids in need next year. Team Unity:
The A-State Steelers staff believes that team unity comes from good morale. The coaching staff for each age group will make sure each child is involved in practice to bring the entire team together as a unit. Every child on the team will be working hard to win not only at practice and football games, but in all aspects of their life. They will understand that everywhere they go they are expected to set a good example of what an A-State Steeler should be. We want them to feel team pride long after they leave the field and long after they leave the program. Once a Steeler, always a Steeler! We Also Offer:
Football camps during off season
Player Bounties--a pizza party rewarded to the team in honor of the child that signs up the most friends for next season. A-State Steelers will have our own home field
All coaching staff will be Heads Up certified
Concession stand will be open at all home games
