What the power of intention combined with loving support:
Excited to humbly share my personal heartfelt story of what the power of positive thinking in combination with the loving support of many individuals and prayer circles in producing the outcome of a successful major surgery to fully overcome a life threatening cancer.
In less than a month’s time from diagnosis to surgery, I only focused on the goal of building J a deck and putting in an above ground pool in time for her upcoming “big girl” 8th birthday party this coming June.
My sister Darlene flew out last week to help me with my recovery and of course to test the pool to make sure it wasn’t leaking.
Yesterday, six days from surgery, Im completely cancer free with no after treatment needed and can drive again and the doctors first words to assess my healing was “wow!”
My sister’s response to the doctors results was “you’re on your own now” and she proceeded afterwards onto a pool floatie with margarita in hand.
The celebratory day was made complete by a consistent showering of pink blossoms from my crab apple trees.
A special day for sure.

Three years in the family Court system to end like this.
"Issues with the system"-last words from an apparently very perceptually helpless and extremely distressed mother.
A story of tragedy for all. Why do families have to "battle" over custody?
There are other alternatives such as family conflict resolution and mediation.
