Did you know that ketchup has a rich history (and flavor 😉) that dates back to the 1800's?!
"In 1834, Dr. John Cooke Bennett transformed the condiment into the hottest drug of the 1800s (think along the lines of today’s Pfizer vaccine — yes, ketchup was that popular as medication).
Bennett claimed that he had done research on the tomato and found that it was capable of curing several ailments including diarrhea, cholera, jaundice, indigestion, and rheumatism. Bennett encouraged people to cook down tomatoes into a sauce to benefit from the fruit’s healing properties. His research was widely publicized across all major American newspapers."

Portland fun fact! 🌲 Mt. Hood is visible from the city and is so large that it can be seen as far as 100 miles away at ground level. 🏔 It stands tall with an impressive elevation of 11,249 feet.! This high of elevation makes it Oregon’s tallest mountain as well as the fourth tallest mountain the Cascade Range.
