REF Video Productions had an incredible day filming the United Way of Beaumont and North Jefferson County's annual Day of Caring where close to 500 volunteers teamed up to spread love to those in need all over our city. We can't wait for you to see what we have in store with this video!

Wedding Filmmaker Q&A: Should we have a first look or not?
Before answering that question, I think it’s best to decide how efficient you want your day to be.
First looks aren’t just powerful and intimate moments, they are a chance for you and your spouse to knock out family and bridal party photos. If getting those out of the way is appealing to you, we would suggest having a first look.
However, there is nothing wrong with waiting to see each other until the ceremony (that’s what my own wife wanted).
You really can’t go wrong either way. There are still plenty of meaningful moments to capture in either scenario! Remember that it’s your day and the flow is up to you.

When The Lights Go Down
My favorite moment of every wedding day is when the DJ announces that all the formalities are concluded and the lights drop.
All the stress of the day seems to just melt away at that moment and everyone starts living like there is no tomorrow.
That’s probably why these sections are my favorite to edit in my wedding films and always will be.

When you are venue shopping be sure to take note of spaces with good natural light.
We always will want to take advantage of these spots (as will your photographer) for clean, dynamic shots.
We are always equipped with our own artificial lighting if needed, but nothing beats natural light.

To us they are almost just as important as the first dance between the bride and the groom.
You are watching a entire life’s worth of love and devotion in the spotlight. The kind of devotion only a parent can have.
