Business Proverbs
I have to admit, I don’t like the concept of sales. It has a negative connotation to it. I like advising, I like informing and educating. Not sales. Yet, I have come to realize that even truth has to be sold.
You have to decide, what type of sales person will you be?
I have a saying, “just because you can does not mean you should.” If the tables were turned, would you accept your offer? Do onto others what you want done unto you.
Honesty may loose you a deal today, but gain you 2 tomorrow.

Business Proverbs week 1 day 2
I have another saying, “it takes 100 pennys to make a dollar. 99 cents will always stay cents, but it only takes one more penny to make a dollar.”
Things over time add up. Negatively or positively.
I use to beat myself up and would linger on it for days when I made a mistake, BUT that mistake did not happen again. When I make mistakes now, I still beat myself up but I am quicker to learn.
Todays lesson: assume every seed you hold has the potential to be an oak tree and not just a tomatoe plant.

In 2007 I went to a used book store and found a book called “Business Proverbs-Daily Wisdom for the workplace”. I bought it and gave it to my dad. I would find him reading it daily along with his Bible.
He is unable to read anymore and lost most of his comprehension, but a big part of my business ethics comes from my dad. I knew where his source came from. I am on a mission this year to get back to that source.
