Cabin Cakes

Cabin Cakes is a bakery located in our home. Our creations includes cakes with beer, spirits, bread puddings and more. And all-in time for Valentine’s Day.

Cabin Cakes began with various types of Bundt cakes to cupcakes. Then came the addition of liqueurs and let the creativity begin! All the recipes have come by trial, error and success. Our family, neighbors, friends, co-workers, and doctors’ offices have sampled our wares. So an interest in… what happens if I add this ….. to a love of creating and seeing the smiles has now led to Cabin Cakes. The

cabin comes from the 70-year-old log cabin that we call home. Thanks to our daughter-in-law for the name. Where Cabin Cakes is today

The past year has given us time in our kitchen trying new recipes and we are excited to share some of those goodies now, as well as there is more to come. As all of this is new, we are still working on ways to make your experience the best it can be. Be assured, because we are small, each order is made with the highest ingredients, we do not add water, oil and/or shortening. All our items are homemade, except where noted. The three flavors that are used for dippings are Chocolate, Salted Caramel and White Chocolate. We always try to include all flavors in your order, when available. There is a place on the order form for requests, we will do our best to fulfill but cannot guarantee. There are no peanuts in any of the items that we make. The pecans that are used, come from a plant that does process peanuts. If your plate of goodies is going to an office party or special occasion event, all items can be sealed in an individual small plastic bags, to be protected, but we do not recommend sealing strawberries. There is a $5.00 charge for sealing. If your purchase is for a gift or for a special occasion, please note that on the order form and will be happy to dress up your purchase. We are working on shipping your purchase but for now, we are not shipping strawberries. If there is a way to make your experience easier, please let us know.

**The Gingerbread Ball is back!**

Our first ball was a huge success!

We hope to repeat that success with a beautifully plated dinner by Donald Sallada, Executive Chef for Cabell Huntington Hospital.

Gingerbread desserts designed especially for this event by Jane Sawyers, owner of Cabin Cakes.

Bartending by Liquor Staffing by Liquor Staffing with a special Gingerbread cocktail.
