In honor of this week racing by…and Im knee deep in dreaming up boy nursery themes 😍. Had to share this beauty. I Loved how this paint detail turned out. It’s is actually amazing to see how paint can transform a space. We have an upcoming project with the same pattern but different colors…any guesses what the theme will be?…🤔

Ok mommas, for those who’ve missed it, our latest blog post is up with tons of photos, design tips & links.

Tonight is the last night in the home we shared as a family. I saved the master closet as last to pack…well no, actually, I dreaded sorting through it & put it last. I knew I would come across my ring. I Cherished this ring. In 15 years I was never one to take my ring off for anything…one year ago it came off for the first time and was the last I ever wore it.
There’s a quote that says “she had not known the weight until she felt the freedom.” This last year, living in the same home we lived as a family & every episode of abuse endured during the final 3 years of marriage…was like climbing a mountain to healing where you can see the top, where you know the climb is over, but with every upward motion you’re carrying a 100lb load. Healing in the very place you faced your worst days is not the easiest place to be….but my gosh have these kids and I moved mountains. We have truly lived this year, for the first time, free from the fears of reading the temperature and temperament of the room on any given day. Knowing that even on cranky days or hard days or sick days or celebration days…nothing was going to get scary. You don’t realize the weight of what you were already living through until you’re free from it. That 100lb load I’ve carried this last year was easy compared to the weight we’d survived.
Tomorrow I will close this homes doors for the very last time and toss that 100lb load inside the threshold and To tell you I can’t wait…is an understatement.
No matter what the heavy is that you carry, no matter what trauma, pain, scary…impossible odds to have to sift through, no matter what comes towards you that feels like you can’t see a way up and out and over…you will! It does! Every day is one day closer to where you belong and one day further away from what has tried to take you.
Psalm 91 has been a passage that I’ve carried with me this last year…every word of it has proven true and carried us. If you’re in a heavy season of life right now, please look up this passage & know it’s going to get better. I promise you, from the bottom of my heart, healing will happen & there is a beautiful life ahead just through that next door.

It’s Moving Week!!!! A few things have been set in place at our new home and the rest kicks off this weekend.
What a year of transition babes…but this fresh start is truly the beginning of a New chapter for these sweet faces and I. So let’s go!…..
One of the things I really really am excited to share is how we are downsizing in square footage and making it all work ! From storage options, shared bedrooms and homeschooling and home office w/No designated office/bonus room spaces. Are you babes ready to see how we do it ?!
Gimme all the questions and things ya wanna know and I’ll be taking you step by step over the next two weeks on how we do it all!
