A few months back, I was approached by the head of HR at the organization I work for. They suggested that I apply for this program and shared how they would cover the cost if I was accepted.

What he didn’t know was that I was already planning to apply as I loved what I was seeing.

God is so dope! What you believe to be yours will be…just like that!

So…
I’m super excited and beyond honored to share that I’ve been accepted to join The Women’s Fund of Omaha’s Circles Class 12.

Circles is a professional network of leaders who support and uplift the mission of The Women’s Fund, an organization that addresses gender-based inequities in our community through collaboration that identifies, researches and creates solutions to advance, educate and fund lasting impact.

What a dope way for me to build my leadership skills, network with others in the community and increase my visibility in Omaha.

So excited to hit the ground running to support and implement what’s needed in our community!

One thing I have learned this year was the importance of owning all that I am!

My hair growth journey has been one that has shown me a lot about me and what it takes for something…someone to grow!

Choose to see yourself in such a light where you do the work needed to grow, expand, eliminate…and most of all…SIMPLY BE YOU! 💋

Fatherhood Matters:

One of the things that I love about my life is I have seen God truly show me who He is and the power I have to believe and trust in his word!

Last week, I took a business trip to Ohio with our leadership team to meet some of the most amazing people who support fatherhood. From all sectors of government along with community partners, these people know how to build bridges instead of barriers for fathers who desire to be present within the lives of this children.

I have to admit….it was an emotional week yet one that was full of hope and inspiration of how to bring change to the state of Nebraska and beyond!
