So here’s the current situation.
I need to take a s**t ton of pictures. I also need to finish a s**t ton of pieces. I’ve got some super rad things coming up and so much to do …. So here’s the product photography. Man I’m really bad at this part of the job.
BUT April 5-7 is the Norman Medieval Fair and I’m sharing a booth with my Painter Friend again so that’s super FunTimes. And I’ve got an art show coming up after that. Plus a bunch of new stuff will be going to later this week AND THEN I’ll be in the Paseo Festival Market again too! Whoop!
If the stories didn’t always go so bad I’d consider cloning. But considering my constant level of wtf is going on-ness I’m pretty sure more of me would only cause serious problems. So heed the cautionary tales of fiction.
Anyway, so there’s some of my new stuff. There’s a couple shells, more pinecones and leaves, a few new feathers. Got some bark and turquoise going on in there. And some wands. Both copper and silver. And one of those garlic flower paper things. The paper thing that went around the flower of a blooming garlic. Whatever that’s called. And as usual, all the feathers and plant leavin’s came straight from my back yard. Even the sticks for some of those wands.

Being 50: Day 5

Same as it ever was .... but it hits different.

Day 4 of Being 50.
I'm still getting happy birthday wishes!! Thank you guys! I love seeing these little happy hellos as I have my morning coffee. I may not have commented back or liked them but I'm 50. I keep the happiness you sent me in my heart. My brain is 50.

I’m 50. I was reminded of that this evening as I drove home from Norman in the dark.
I had dinner with my GFF Sarah Atkinson and blew my macros all to hell then we talked for four hours and it was dark by the time I headed home. It was like those times I drove home from Norman in my 20’s, I couldn’t see that great, things were blurry and the lights were too bright. It felt like all the cars around me were too close and too fast. But I was …. Ummmm …. Not really sober then. Tonight I’m just 50.
Had a great time with my friend though so not sorry.
But it is late. I’m 50.

Today I am 50.
I'm wearing pajamas all day and drinking coffee.
I tried to start laundry three times but kept getting distracted and forgetting but it's FINALLY going.

2. I was in a car accident today and I was NOT speeding and it was NOT my fault and I am VERY angry. And sore. And my poor car 😩😩😩
3. Have a sneak peak at what I’m working on currently. BABY MAGIC WANDS. They will be in copper and silver (not sterling silver though - wait till I’m a rich bitch for that) and have various stones and crystals etc. When they are done y’all are gonna get a picture show.

Lo, after these many years since covid was wrought among these lands, I have succumbed.
Thankfully I have juice, ramen and Stella. And also thankfully I don’t need to exert a ton of energy on a rousing game of ChuckIt for her.

It’s windy today here in the ole OKC and usually windy days p**s me off and my my allergies worse BUT windy days also make the pecans fall so there’s that.

Yesterday I had the best day at an event I’ve had all year, and I’m not just talking about the dollars. The weather was perfect, the people were so nice and the pirates were hilarious. I’m looking forward to another awesome day.

I am well, thank you! Hella busy as I get things ready for my next event. Whoop! I’ll have a lot of new earrings like that dangly pair in the second picture in copper, sterling silver and jewelers bronze. Also some new electroformed feather and leaf earrings not yet pictured and some baby pine cones.
Also, there is an owl hooting in my neighborhood right this very moment as I make this post while sitting in the backyard playing the MILLIONTH game of fetch with Stella.

Hello. This morning’s yard haul when watering some plants. These will be all gussied up for some falltime shows coming up. Whoop!!

Being out in the backyard today I could see fallfast approaching. It’s still stupid hot but the angle of the sun is changing and the morning air is just a little different.
And fall is a great time for CUFF BRACELETS.
These are pretty much it for the ones I have ready to go but I’ve got some metal set out for a new batch. Want a made to order cuff? Message me and we can make it happen.
To know the size you want just cut a pice of string the length or circumference you want you’re bracelet to be on you and measure it. Easy peasy, yeah? Yeah.

In an effort to prevent loss of life this winter I’m readying plants to come in. I have nine (NINE) rubber tree plant cuttings that are FREE to a good home. You gotta come get them though.
