After spending time with his friend on February 19th at the national farm machinery show Zak Oliver went to support another friend in playing music in Marion. After leaving there he went to get his truck that he left parked at his friends house. He got his truck in the early morning hours of February 20th and started his 7 mile trip to Holiday Hills where he had been staying since the beginning of the year. About a mile from the entrance Zak fell asleep and over correcting causing his truck to flip three times before ejecting him into a pine tree. He was almost home but instead he lay there waiting, hoping and praying for an half hour before he was found.
Zak was flown from the scene to Deacons Midtown Hospital in Evansville were they found he had a list of injuries. His injuries included multiple broken ribs, his pelvis broken in multiple places as well as both hips. He also has pneumonia, collapsed lung, lacerated liver, a busted bladder and a bleed on his brain.
Zak now has to deal with not only his injuries but the fact that he has no job, no home, no insurance and now no vehicle. On top of the stress from the physical injuries that will lead him to have to walk again he also has the strain of the mental stress it has caused due to previous accident.
In 1996 Zak was in a horrible accident with his Dad and Granddad the left it’s mark and took his Granddad from him. This accident has reopened those wounds left behind from that day as well as adding a lot of expenses.
The smaller design will be on the front of the shirt and the bigger one on the back of shirt!

Wow is all I can say on the YorkStrong fundraiser, you guys have blew us out of the water with this one.

His family and friends ans students want him back home. This is to help the family with expenses traveling to see him and whatever else they may need.
