This week I will be making sweet little Australian Matte Black Jade rings. I am opening up these babes to pre-orders if you would like to ensure one is available in your size and stone preference. There will be 3 sizes available, small (slide # 2) for $129, medium long (slide # 3) for $139 and medium (last slide) for $149. Larger sizes are also available upon request. These babes will be set in a handcrafted thick sterling bezel with my signature double split ring band (not the one pictured).

Pre-orders still open if you want to reserve one before the official drop 🖤 these babes feature a beautiful satin matte finished Australian jade heart cabochon surrounded by a thick silver bezel, with my signature hidden bale that allows the chain to to slide freely for a clean centered look. This is one of my personal favorite pieces that I wear all the time, probably more than any other piece of jewlery I own.

I’ll be doing a small collection of matching rings the last week of November, so keep an eye out for those!

These chunky Royston Ribbon babes are ready to be scooped up by their people! I loved working with these stones - nothing like some chunky natural pieces of turquoise to make your week fly by! The lighting in here is terrible 😭 ALL of these stones have nice high domes, which is hard to tell from the photos but they’re all lovely 😉 From left to right the necklaces are # 1-4 and the rings are # 5-9. The home stretch. I’ve been at it for over 14 hours today so time to call it quits… my stepson just got home from work and his bedroom is directly below my studio, so I’m going to have to tuck these babes in for the night, and pick up where I left off, in the morning.

I’m having a hard time with one thing I could use y’all’s help with… I was going to just add bands to the rings and select sizes myself, should I do that or offer them to be custom sized by adding bands after their sold?

Hi all! Just a quick update…. Things aren’t moving as fast as I had hoped they would with this collection but I’m pulling out all the stops to try and have these babes completed and photographed by tomorrow evening! These pieces are a little more intricate and I’m fabricating thicker wire and components, all which takes more time. I’ve been at it since around 7 this morning and I still have several hours left in me tonight. Anyway, here’s a little teaser. These stones are CHONKERS! This babe has thick hand twisted wire surrounding it and it’ll be a ring. There’s a fun variety in this bunch, I can’t wait to show them off.

Good morning y’all! This week I’m going to work on transforming these 9 stunning hi grade pieces of Royston ribbon into gorgeous pieces of wearable art. I was planning on making them all into rings, but the jury is still out on that 🤔 Anyway, I’m hoping to have them completed by Thursday, but I’ll keep y’all updated on my progress throughout the week! These are really nice thick cabs from a new lapidary artist I’m working with. I’m doing my best to source amazing stones and still be able to offer finished pieces under $200 for the weekly collections I’m working on. These will range from $119 - $189 as it sits now, but if I make any design changes through the creative process that may change slightly. I have taken extra time to add beautiful hidden bales to the backs of these for a gorgeous finished piece. I’ve put in a ton of hours on finishing these babes this week, much more than anticipated, but they’re finally polished up and almost complete. My silver sheet just showed up so I’m going to get busy cutting individual backplates for the 10 Baltic Amber pendants that will be available tomorrow at 4PM CST. These babes GLOW 😍 So so pretty! I’m excited to offer these gorgeous pieces at a great price, just in time for fall 🍂🖤🎃

I sent this custom, a piece I’ve been working on for a few weeks, home today! This is the last of the customs on my bench.

Getting closer on these! Sterling wire has been twisted and bead wire has been measured smd cut. Chains have been selected & cut to size. Jump-rings & clasps have been selected & soldered.

I really wanted to release these Thursday, however, I just realized I don’t have enough silver sheet for backplates (facepalm 🤦🏼‍♀️) - the soonest I can get it here is Thursday. Soooo, my plan is to pull an all-nighter Thursday night to finish these up so I can release all 10 necklaces Friday at 4PM CST. In the meantime, I’m working on the LAST of the customs that I’ve committed to. If you’ve been thinking about a custom piece, now is a great time to reach out, before the holiday rush.

Working on selecting chains. Then I’ll solder clasps and jump rings, polish and hand finish each chain. I’ll probably leave these shiny, but I’m curious…. What do you prefer? A shiny or an antiqued chain?

Big ol’ Natural Baltic Amber pendants coming up next!

These pieces of Baltic Amber are a little bigger than the ones used for the rings I finished last week. These will be $149/each and will feature chains up to 22” long with loner upgraded chains also available for a small charge.

Gorgeous high grade natural Baltic Amber pendants with hidden bales will be available later this week. These will be created in a traditional or classic style, using handcrafted elements in sterling and fine silver. I’d like to release these on Thursday, but have to see how things go. I have a few customs I’m finishing up now, and will work on this collection between that work. I have the house to myself this week so I’ll be working late into the night, as I often love to do in these rare moments I get to work uninterrupted, immersed in my craft for 12-16 hours a day, on an creative high, dreaming of seeing these pieces completed and on their way into the world. I’m so excited about these! I LOVE wearing big amber pendants in the fall! These are a staple in my wardrobe through thanksgiving, as you can see me with a piece of amber on my hand or around my neck almost every day till close to Christmas. Amber is such a dreamy mineral to work with. Formed millions of years ago, containing fossilized organic matter such as moss, tree leaves, bugs and many other mysteries, it’s a material of wonder. It just glows and brings me a sense of calm. I hope y’all will love these classic pendants as much as I do!

I just finished packaging all of the Baltic Amber rings sold over the weekend, along with all but one little “boo” 👻. Thank you SO much for loving those babes up! It means the world to me 🖤 A little update on what to expect this coming week. After posting the rings, I had several requests for amber necklaces, so this week I’ll be setting these 10 pieces of natural Baltic Amber in pendants, for necklaces to compliment last weeks rings. I’ll offer longer chains on these babes, perfect for layering over fall sweaters & turtlenecks - or whatever your heart desires - I just love a chunky pendant on a longer necklace in the fall and winter! Y’all!!! How pretty is this babe?!?! Gosh I just love it so much! 😍! As soon as I’m finished with the customs on my bench I’m going to chose a stone from my stash and make one for myself. I’d love to make one for you too! I’ll post some stones in my stories that would work well with this design or a version of it. It took me a couple of weeks to get my new buffing machine broken in so I was comfortable enough to use it on custom pieces for clients.
