Wednesday discussion question:
This week, kids learned in 2 Thessalonians 3:6-13 that everyone in God’s family can, and is called to, do their part. Kids also learned ways they can pull their weight. They found out when everyone is a hard worker, God’s family and their family runs well. And they found out that being a happy, hard worker can help us feel good about ourselves and our ability to do good in God’s power, too. Bible Memory Verse: “Brothers and sisters, never become tired of doing good.” 2 Thessalonians 3:13

Elementary Daily Discussion
This week, kids learned in Luke 17:5-10 that faith the size of a mustard seed can produce amazing results. They found out that what’s important is not how big or powerful they are, or even that they have amazing faith. They learned that what’s important is that God is powerful and loving, and when we have faith in Him, He responds in love. Bible Memory Verse: "The apostles said to the Lord, ‘Increase our faith!’ The Lord replied, ‘If you had faith the size of a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.’" Luke 17:5-6

Thursday Discussion Question:
Elementary Daily Discussion this week:
This week, kids learned in Luke 14:25-33 that while following Jesus is a wonderful thing, and the best choice they could ever make, they must count the cost of following Him. They found out about how Jesus told His disciples to take up their crosses and follow Him. Kids explored what it might mean for them to carry their crosses and how to make Jesus most important in their lives. Bible Memory Verse: "And anyone who does not carry his cross and follow me cannot be my disciple. Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Will he not first sit down and estimate the cost to see if he has enough money to complete it? For if he lays the foundation and is not able to finish it, everyone who sees it will ridicule him, saying, `This fellow began to build and was not able to finish.' " Luke 14: 27-30
