Today, two of our beloved residents enjoyed some quality time with a future resident, playing a game of checkers, puzzles, and bonding over stories. These heartwarming interactions are what make our community so unique and vibrant.

We cherish these connections that bring joy to all ages.

We are thrilled to share that our talented knitting club has recently completed a heartwarming project for the Christ Child Society, a wonderful non-profit dedicated to serving the needs of children in the DC area. Our residents lovingly knitted beautiful blankets that will bring warmth and comfort to children.

A huge thank you to everyone involved for your time, skill, and generosity. Your work truly makes a difference!

Our Executive Director had a blast making summer smoothies at our pop-up station today, and rumor has it her smoothies were even better than Chef Jeremy’s! Check out these great photos from the event!

We had the pleasure of honoring our wonderful residents born in 1935 with a special birthday dinner. It was a beautiful evening filled with laughter, cherished memories, and delicious food as they celebrated their last year in their 80s.

We are so grateful to share these precious moments with such incredible individuals. Cheers to many more wonderful years ahead!

Today, we had the pleasure of Chef Jeremy firing up the grill for the third time this week, and it was all to celebrate and appreciate our incredible team members. A huge thank you to our wonderful residents for allowing us to close the dining room for lunch, giving everyone the chance to take a well-deserved break and enjoy some fellowship on this HOT summer day. Your support means the world to us!

You can't live in Maryland and not love a crab feast! Today, our community came together for a fantastic time indulging in blue crabs, crab legs, peel 'n' eat shrimp, corn, and hush puppies – all enjoyed outside under the tent.

What a night to remember! We celebrated our 34th anniversary with an evening full of food, friends, and fun. After indulging in a delicious surf 'n' turf meal, our residents hit the dance floor to live music performed by Rich & The Roadrunners.

This month, we had the incredible Chef Jeremy take us on a culinary journey to China! He led an amazing interactive course where we learned the art of making delicious dumplings from scratch.

It was a hands-on experience that brought everyone together. Thank you, Chef Jeremy, for sharing your expertise and passion with us!

Today, we came together to celebrate freedom, history, and community. Our lectures and lessons reminded us of the resilience and triumph of those who came before us, and the delicious hush puppies were the perfect treat to cap off a day of reflection and joy.

Today, we hosted a wonderful De-Stress Fest for our team members in honor of Stress Awareness Month!

It was amazing to see everyone come together for 15-minute group meditation sessions. Taking time to relax and recharge is so important, especially during our busy days. Thank you to all who participated and helped make this event a success! Let's continue to prioritize our well-being together.
