Well that's a wrap on fair this year the kids had a blast and that's why we do what we do for sure they brought home some hardware as a bonus now to start working on next year
Yesterday was show day for goats at our local fair Andrew took Grand Champion for his wether and also got rate of gain he also won county breed KarleighAnn took Reserve Champion doe if you get a chance stop on out to Isabella county fair and say hello we also have the 4H beekeeping club set up in the still exhibit barn
So today was animal check in day here at the fair Andrew took the top spot with his rate of gain this year that goat weighs 141lbs
Well they are heading into the box guess we'll deal with them when we get back from the still exhibit auction
Not what I wanted to do when we got back home from the fairgrounds today but I guess it doesn't matter deal with things as they come

Hello it's that time of the year it is fair season good luck to everyone it's a lot of fun but a long week Andrew made a beekeeping tool box it will be sold at our still exhibit sale on Saturday July 20 at 6:00 pm in the large animal ( Beef barn ) FYI it will come with tools

We went to help a new Beekeeper yesterday this is why spacing is so important if you have over 3/8" they will build comb in that space if you have less they will propolis it shut

Jenn took Monday and went to Ithaca elementary kindergarten classes and talked bees sounds like they had a lot of fun
Now I remember why I don't like spinning spring honey out of dead out or extra box's I'll have to remember that this year FYI way to much crystalized honey
