I just wanted to announce that I am going to go ahead and cut off Christmas orders. It is unclear when Chase will get to come home from UK right now.

I will definitely be doing all the orders I have booked so no need to worry about your Christmas goodies. I just won’t be able to take on anything extra as of right now. Thank you so much to everyone for being so supportive. 🧡

I had plans on vending tomorrow during Christmas on the square. This is one of my favorite events because I LOVE all things Christmas! However, Chase was hospitalized at UK late last night, so I have cancelled and will not be able to make it. I wanna be by my kiddos side. 🧡

Once he is out, I would love to possibly set up one day with a food truck or two and hopefully make up for missing out on this event.

The Christmas menu is here! These items can be ordered throughout December, but I will be booking for Christmas weekend as well.

My availability will vary based on Chases treatment schedule. Most Monday/Tuesdays we are in Lexington, however the days can always change.

Thankful. Grateful. Blessed. Those three words could sum up how I’ve felt the last two days. I had over 50 orders this year.. which is more then I’ve ever had at Thanksgiving before. I didn’t even have time to really make anything extra.

So many times I have almost been brought to tears the last few days. To know how many people support, think about and pray for my little family, especially Chase, is so heartwarming. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all. 🧡

I forgot to post the other day, but I made a German Chocolate cake for a dear friends husbands birthday!

It had been a minute since I had done an actual cake for an order, but it felt so good to be in my element for a few. 💓

I’ve been asked a few times, so I’m going to list Thanksgiving pickup times early this year!

I added a later evening pickup at big lots both days in case it is needed! Please comment the time that works best for you for the day your order is booked.

One of the best compliment a small business owner can ever receive is hearing, “I only came here to see you”, or “I’m so glad you set up here!”.

I heard both of those so many times this past Saturday. It felt great to be able to be in my element and set up at an event. You all really help a girl live out her dream. 💓

I’m hopeful to be able to set up for a few winter events and I’m still planning on posting a Thanksgiving menu for Thanksgiving orders.

Hey y’all!

I am going to go ahead and take time off until Thanksgiving. I do plan on having a full menu of items to offer for that week to kick off my holiday baking!

I’m a little late posting, but the newest member to the Cakeys family made her appearance last Thursday, August 31st.

I just wanted to make a quick update. Chase is still hospitalized here at UK while he is undergoing this first little bit of chemo. It looks as if we may be here for a while.

While I love doing cakes and sweets, until we are home and have some normalcy, especially with baby sister set to make her arrival soon… my heart is here with my kiddo and I’ll be taking the next few months off so I can be with him.

I am hopeful to be able to start back up in late October or early November.. just in time for Thanksgiving. But we will have to see. Thank you all for the kind words, prayers, and messages. They are very much appreciated. 🧡

I will work on getting messages sent to everyone, but I just wanted to post here first. As of now, I am going to cancel any orders I have for at least the next two weeks, possibly longer. I will also not be taking on any new orders as well. I will be able to figure more out in the next few days hopefully. I truly am sorry for any inconveniences this will cause.

My kiddo was diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia yesterday and we are admitted at UK. We will be here the next week, but we could be here even longer. I don’t know anything for certain. I just know I feel like as his momma, it is best to be right by his side. This is one of the scariest things a 10 year old can be going through.

Please pray for our family as we navigate through our new norm over the next little bit. 🩵

In honor of National Cheesecake Day being tomorrow, I figured I would share a few of my favorites! Don’t get me wrong… I love cake, but I love cheesecake even more!

Just wanted to make a quick reminder:

Please understand I am not Walmart, IGA or Kroger. I cannot make a custom cake or order from start to finish in 2-3 hours.. it is just not plausible. I am the only baker/decorator for my business so I only take on as much as I physically can. I book out at least 2 weeks on customs so I recommend submitting an inquiry ASAP.

If you ask me if I am available on a certain day and I am, I will only hold that day for you for 48 hours (2 days) to get your order booked. In all honesty, it is always best to have an idea of what you are looking for (cake/cupcake design, cheesecake, cake pop, etc) whenever you make an inquiry.

I try my best to have a quick response time to all my messages. With football season, school, and more frequent doctor visits starting, my response time may be delayed. Please keep in mind I may not respond to any messages Monday-Saturday before 9 am or after 5 pm and not at all on Sundays.

**As of now, I have openings for August 11/12 & 18/19. Depending on our game schedule, I may be able to squeeze a few in on the 25/26. I am already booked for the first weekend in September and will book VERY lightly the next week after, so I can prepare for our baby girl to make her arrival. 💓**

As always, thank you all for all the continued support and business. Summer time is always a slow time, but I have managed to stay as busy as my body will allow this summer.
