Goshen Elementary School

I hope you are all enjoying the beginning of summer. We still have a lot of Cardinal tickets left to be picked up. If you have not paid for your tickets you will need to pay for them prior to picking them up. The tickets will be available with security from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. throughout the summer. I would appreciate it if you would be able to pick them up as soon as possible. There will be someone in the office from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. through the month of June. I look forward to seeing everyone at the game in July.

This week the Edwardsville Preschool program hosted Play in the Park. This event wraps up our school year and it is always one of our favorites! We would like to thank all of our families for sharing their little learners with us this school year.

2nd grade trip took a trip to SIUE Gardens and explored nature.

Ms. Dormeier’s class enjoyed making crafts and made tie dye shirts to wear for Goshen Olympics.

Mrs. Brinkman’s class is viewing one of their caterpillars as it forms a chrysalis around its body!

Two of Ms. Rongeys students worked hard all year to earn a special visit from Officer Grimes with the Edwardsville Police Department. They got a first hand look at a patrol vehicle and all its special gadgets.

Ms. Rongey and Mrs. Youngmans class enjoyed learning measurements outside.

Kindergarten had a magical time at the Edwardsville Children's Museum!

Preschool classes explored paint in a variety of ways today as they participated in Messy Art Day. Messes were made and fun was had by all!!

On April 25, our Preschool for All and Early Childhood preschoolers from Goshen and Glen Carbon came together at the Edwardsville Children’s Museum for an evening of fun for families to play and explore with their littlest learners!

2nd grade wrapped up their fairytales unit with Fairytale Day and Castle building.

Our Gators did an incredible job during our fire drill today. A special thank you to the Edwardsville Fire Department for stopping by to visit during our drill.

Ms. Rongey’s & Mrs. Youngman’s classes made friendship bracelets as part of their end of year countdown. Each bead in the bracelet represents a student in their class!

Mrs. Michel’s class has been busy! They planted seeds from the Edwardsville Garden Club and got to have some rainy day fun with peer buddy’s.

Mrs. Bryan’s 2nd grade had a blast at Family Fine Arts Night.
