Our Story

I am a mom of 4 awesome grown kids, grand mom to 6 way cool grandbabies, and counting, and blessed to be married for 17 years to Mike, the love of my life! Family and friends, who have become like family, are everything to me.
I LOVE anything to do with the water, ocean or lakes. Fishing, boating or simply being near it, lights me up. I lived on the Maine coast years ago and now get to live and work by Lake Champlain.https://www.vermont.org/experience/a-day-in-the-lake-champlain-islands

In 2000, at the age of 41, I was very overweight (ok, grossly obese), in pain all the time, miserable, depressed and truly lost hope in my ability to lose weight, (after a gazillion attempts and lots of dollars to no avail) and lost my HOPE of ever feeling energetic, healthy, truly happy, sexy and ALIVE inside. Then I answered an ad.. skeptically, with the help of a Wellness Coach for Herbalife, I got on a program and began my transformation. Life is COMPLETELY different for me now and I enjoy so many things at 59, that were out of reach at 41. Not only did I lose weight , I found ME!
Hence my vocation....My true PASSION and MISSION is to help others feel absolutely incredible whether they need to lose weight or not, through great nutrition, coaching, recognition, connection, mindset work and friendship. My clients become my friends and that relationship is transformative for both of us. The Herbalife environment is positive and loving in a very negative, not so loving world. I feel “home” here and many of my clients feels the same.

Another passion of mine is creating. I am an artist and specialize in whimsical pieces that make me and hopefully others smile or at least feel warm inside. Snowmen are my fav to paint. And I like painting on old wood things like pelt boards, old bowls, barrel staves, etc. I look forward to learning more about other mediums of painting, etc. I love to meld my love of painting and making fun things with my Wellness Coaching practice. It’s so much fun!
I proudly admit that I am addicted to HGTV and have been known to binge watch various programs. True story. I also admit that I am a recovering M&M-a-holic. Hey, just being real here.
We have been thru some “stuff”. The latest being the loss of our home, 95% of our belongings, 2 cars and a boat to Tropical Storm Irene, right here in good ole Vermont. Our attitude was, from the get go, that we were going to thrive, not just survive this disaster. We felt Jesus’s presence throughout our ordeal. We saw love in action by the hands of people we knew or never met. I called them “Angels on Earth”… sent by God to minister to us in a way only He would know we needed.
We have indeed THRIVED, albeit a bit bumpy and now live in our dream spot in the Champlain Islands. Our faith and work with Personal Growth practices for years set us up to WIN! We live in a place of gratitude and love. Our desire is to “pay it forward” and needless to say, our level of compassion and understanding is right up there. We get it.
