Today we honor Andrew McDonough, who passed away 17 years ago today. After his passing his father created the B+ Foundation.

The B+ Foundation was created to fight the war against childhood cancer by funding childhood cancer research and financially supporting families of kids with cancer.

We value the relationship with our national philanthropy, The B+ Foundation, and the effort our undergraduate members make to support the fight against childhood cancer.

We are thrilled to announce the TOP 5 Chapters that raised the most money for the B+ Foundation during the 2023-2024 year!

Bob Peterson, Rho ’72, crafted a beautifully engraved tortoise as a fundraiser to support the establishment of an Interest Group at Lafayette College. This initiative was launched during the Rho Alumni Reunion, showcasing Bob’s dedication to fostering new opportunities within our fraternity. Meet Aaron Austinson, Pi Alpha ‘24, and Zack Coleman, Gamma Beta ‘24!

Over his years being a member of the Pi Alpha Chapter at the University of Toledo Aaron has served as his Chapter’s Social Media Chair and served as the Social Media Intern for KDR National for the past 2 years. He also served as the President of Club Tennis and the PR Chair of the Order of Omega Greek Honor Society all while earning his name on the President’s and Dean’s List multiple times.

Over his years being a member of the Gamma Beta Chapter at Virginia Tech, Zack served as his Chapter’s President and Risk Manager. Zack was awarded KDR New Member of the Year in 2023 and earned his name on the Dean’s List multiple times.

Meet Shady Danial, Omega Alpha ‘24! Over his years being a member of the Omega Alpha Chapter at Virginia Commonwealth University he served as his Chapters Consul, Pontifex, Centurion, Alumni Relations Chair and Formal Chair.

Reflecting on his journey, Shady shares, “Kappa Delta Rho has helped me gain lifelong bonds through our brotherhood and instilled in me a confidence I didn’t know I had until my brothers brought it out of me.”
