Mother Nation attended court on Wednesday to support the family of Rosenda Strong. Sister Cissy L. Reyes did amazing in her testimony today with the day ending in favor of the case. Rosenda Strong family’s been on their own for years like many others. Support from MMIP families as well. They deserve all the credit Rosenda Strong went missing in 2018, her body found a year later. Five years following several arrests took place this summer. The homicide case in court will go to trial in March 2024. Sending love and Prayers to the family for continued strength and healing. A new Yeha:wi Healing Journey group begins on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 from 1PM-3PM PT. This group is for adult survivors of SA and multi-abuse trauma. A Journey of Earth based healing from the effects of SA and multi-abuse trauma against Indigenous Women. Facilitated by Arlene Red Elk (Jamestown S'klallam).

Indigenous Astronomy hosted by Mother Nation Teachings on Grandmother moons cycles to plant, harvest, pick medicines and protect our food! Gardening is the original Indigenous education system. It teaches us science, math, history, art , and music with our seed songs” Samantha Doxtator. Sunflower is the big brother of the garden with the corn beans and squash. They all take care of each other. We have to be those seed keepers ourselves and protect our seeds, keep gardens clear. That is Indigenous wealth.”

Celebrating Our Two Spirit Relatives Everyday -

Mother Nation is hosting an in person "Healing with Essential Oils" Workshop. Join us at this time to learn the teachings on healing
with essential oils. The medicine the oils carry from our sacred mother, have changed the lives of many sisters who
are now wellness advocates sharing managing their healing journey with essential oils . We hope to offer this workshop monthly for those interested.

We are ending our Day 2 of the Healing the Spirit Gathering! Astronomical day of 5 workshops with a panel and keynote speaker. Astronomical day is the word after embracing all the teachings today. Afternoon sessions included Wellbriety, Yeha:wi Art panel, sharing in Wild Foods Traditions. Teachings on Indigenous Astronomy Haudenosaunee style with Oneida Sister Samantha Doxtator. Yoyanle on the hard work put into the presentation and we will be having Sam return! We finished off our Medicine Wheel Healing with Conroy Provost on Nutrition to Support Fitness and Wellness with an Indigenous twist. Lot of sharing of healing journeys put into art, astrology, fitness and grief.
